Well I got a Cavani for 12.5k

And have 9k in coins so I would say I have about 60k atm.

yeah he will definitely rise as people get more coins. Depends also how many coins you have atm... if you have enough to be trading then keep him, if you have very few coins (1-2k) then I'd sell so you can trade and invest in more players

Hmmm ... not sure Marlin. I got Bale last year in my starter pack. Sold him early for under 30k. He peaked a few weeks later over the 70k mark.

Bit of a lottery these first few weeks.

Managed to pick up a Ramos for 48k and then a couple of other CBs - Pepe and Mascherano. McCarthy looks like the best England, Championship and possibly best silver GK overall and he's 1k

do we think that it might be wise to invest in players before the game is actually released? As i know its been mentioned before that prices will probably shoot up a bit as people have more coins. So with that in mind, would it be wise to continue to attempt to trade for now, before investing in few popular players prior to release? no point doing it now as i would have next to nothing left after that.

It depends how many coins you need to trade with. For example I like to keep 10k in the bank at all times so I've invested in players ensuring I always have 10k.

It seems to me that the big players dropped in price yesterday, I think because the 'coin-buyers' got banned so few people had the coin balance to pick up the 50-100k players. Now as the 'legit traders' start to get into that region and people inevitably re-buy coins they will rise again, so if you were going to invest in a high end player then now is the time. All my opinion ofcourse

Yeah for the level of trading im operating at i think i would want to retain 5-10k to give me chance to continue to make some slender pickings where i can. From what i can tell, from players ive been watching price with view to trading, the likes of Negredo, Lukaku, Benteke all gone up since i started watching prices on friday. Even De Bruyne has gone up from 1.5 to 2k. Small increase sure but seems to be a general trend.
