1000% agree TWS ... such a shame we need to bow down to this entitlement generation that don't want to learn how to play - they want it all gifted on a platter.

Such a shame.

Agree on that article. I do understand that he did not have too much reference on preceding play, but the defence looked atrocious most times.

I have never spent a penny extra than actually buying the game. That rules me out!

some FUT related info on FIFA17

Quote
You’ll need to know how chemistry between players work. Players from other nations. We assume, though can’t confirm, it’ll mean that chemistry would be hampered by players not being able to communicate because of language barriers.
You’ll have to build teams by meeting certain conditions. For example: you may need to have a minimum of four different nationalities while also having a minimum team-rating of 60 etc.

They’re basically mini-games that reward you with new players for your FUT squad.

You’ll also be able to take these challenges on without being on your console – you can play it
via the smartphone app and then collect your rewards back on your console.

Quick-selling of non-needed players is being discouraged by giving every player a purpose within the challenges.

Weekend League: Biggest prizes and rewards for Weekend Leagues.

There will also be a monthly leaderboard.

To get into the Weekend Leagues you need to play throughout the week to try to qualify

Players will compete for in-game currency and cards

weekend leagues.......oh dear ..

The more I see about FUT 17, the more I fear it's going to be worse than ever before. Driven through balls. That sets alarm bells ringing straight away!

Also that match video with that strange freak and Reus looks like an even worse pace bs mess than we usually get served up.

Played both PES and FIFA on the gamescom. PES was absolutely bad. The AI was makiing very bad decisions. For instance when you had the ball, you winger and back would be in 5 meters of each other. Leaving a big defense gap but also onreachable sides.

As for FIFA. Defensive AI is much better than all the 'analysis' vids on the internet are showing. Only did a head to head game but every player was where you expected him. Graphics are again great.

See that the first batch of ratings has been released - http://www.futhead.com/17/players/?bin_platform=xb

There was a YouTube video too, with some funny moments:

... and you can see some other ratings.

Yeah ... with the new release (https://t.co/fSiUACzgEY) there are some interesting ones - specifically like Kroos/Busquets re: their pace (45/42 respectively).

Wonder if that means that pace in the midfield will be less important, otherwise why have an 88-rated Kroos there?

Hey Otu!!! How are you doing mate! With all the stress in your country.

Looking forward to play myself too. Good to have you back in the FIFA saddle.

As for BF1, I did pre-order it and also Titanfall 2.
