Have done most of the League sbcs now. On Sunday evening, finished the Mexican, Portuguese and most of the Russian Leagues. Made profir all round. Some of the Portuguese teams have got stupidly cheap but packing David Silva in two packs running, and also Ruffier and Keylor Navas on top of the 20-25k for completing groups meant it was profitable.

Made a couple of teams to play with for the next week or so, one with SBC's Pirlo, Giovinco and Moore, the other with Casillas, Quaresma and Younes. Used them on a dkt run and made the final, beating a guy who was pretty decent and had six prime icons! Managed to lose the final to a much worse player that just spammed through balls to POTM's Mane and Salah at striker with POTM Kane at CM! Sums up Fifa 18 really! Had 21 shots to his 8, lost 5-4. After that played another 1st round game and went 1-0 down early to a triple rebound tackle goal by Jesus. He shushed me and that was his biggest mistake. Ended up putting seven past him with some very questionable celebrations!

In the evening did ten more Serie A sbcs, leaving just the mainly silver teams and a couple of the big Ligue 1 ones. Almost every player was discard during the pack opening madness. Opened one of the packs and got a walkout, Oblak, so hopefully some more decent pulls later when I've cleared my tradepile, probably using them in marquee matchups.

Not posted much at all recently but this game seriously now is just at an all time low. Never really been one for the handicap/momentum stuff, until last year where at times it was blatently obvious that stuff was going on. Always thought that sliders were being changed ingame, but the way it works this year is a complete joke. God forbid you go a couple of goals up. The way your players struggle to turn, have awful touches, cannot play a two yard pass, it's just so blatent. Completely outplay someone and suddenly their goalkeeper turns into an unbeatable wall. Then suddenly together with the way your players turn so sluggish, as a Bergkamp is hit by the sliders and turned into a slow 60 rated League 2 player and every opponent suddenly has the ability to intercept every ball and kill it stone dead so that it is glued to his foot. It's just absolutely pathetic. And when this is happening you know that one shot, however bad on your goal will be a goal. Doesn't matter if it's straight at him, he'll find a way to save it with one hand and bat it into the goal with the other. And after watching the opposing keeper pulling off point blank miracle saves when the ball has already gone past him. Just no. They've gone so far overboard with that sort of stuff this year that it's absolutely laughable. It's like playing bloody Mario Kart where if you go in front then suddenly you get overtaken even when going at full speed. The game in my eyes has become a flat out joke this year. It is absolutely pathetic how this mess is going to be showcased as an esport in Barcelona this weekend. It has become even more about abusing mechanics and luck in matches between similar standard players. There is just no point in buying expensive players if the game is going to cut them down to a taxi driver in the park on a Sunday morning type levels whilst your opponents shitty Premier League side get boosted to keep people from getting constantly beaten and keep the cash coming to EA 's pockets. The game is a shambles right now.

On Monday I decided to chuck in 11 duplicates o off my trade pile and do a TOTW upgrade pack and submitted it with less than 2 minutes to spare. Got TIF Son! A couple of hours later, I got the free pack for playing 20 games, the first pack since the Son pack and got Kante! Decided to open some 400 coin bronze packs. Third one of those I somehow managed to get the silver IF Brazillian LW. Not bad luck! But what's the point?
Have won the dkt , battling through the BS this week so have qualified for the Weekend League, but would rather slit my wrists than play that.

May have lost the plot there a little! But the days of FUT12 and 13 and the bronzes we would have fun with and even the gold cup teams I used to make after they killed bronzes, are long gone. Now we just have a mess. It's sad and I try and have fun with random IF's and systems, and I want to play a football game. The game is so good until you actually hit what should be the most important part, the gameplay!
Literally everyone (or at least 9 out of 10) playing exactly the same way, 41212(2) with driven passes to the front three and one two passes, normally with all other 8 camped in their own half , just make it so tedious to play as well. They need to make major changes to team building as well. The chemistry system is basically dead. There's no point to it in it's current state. Everyone just starts with a 4321 and pauses at kick off to get two fast wingers that end up more effective than strikers. It's just stupid now. There's no such thing as a nice hybrid anymore. If you do see one it has Bakayoko at striker and Rashford at CDM and a first minute pause. Creative team building is completely dead.
Game is completely dead now and so many people I've played against and am friends with through Fifa barely play anymore. We haven't even played clubs since the first week, although there have been days worth of Fortnite squad sessions which has completely overtaken Fifa now.

Went into the maximum 80 rated tournament on Tuesday evening. Lost in the first round first go, and won the whole thing second go. In the five games I saw one player rated below 80! No prizes for guessing that it was Musa. All five games were against Premier League teams. All had Bakayoko, Martial, Gabriel Jesus and co. So so bored of these every game.
The first attempt, I was 4-2 up with 4 minutes left, but the standard BS took over, tackle after tackle bouncing to opponents, followed by Jesus running straight through tackles and retackling the ball back. From kick off, my players were unable to move, pass or do anything, and a few more bounces from tackles and it was 4-4. The penalties were just as bad. Diving the right way and spooning it into your own goal. You just have to laugh. Almost switched off, but walked it second go. So nice beating these idiots and making them rage quit with their stupid bland teams with goals by Danny Hylton, Luke Berry, Kumar Roofe and Iborra! The other team was lead by a strike force of IF Locadia and IF Labyad, with Kluiverts son and the worst player I've used on Fifa 18, Jorrit Hendrix include in the four man midfield!
Also played a few seasons games this week and have now reached Division 3, with a comfortable rage quit win after two absolutely ridiculous goals by Bergkamp winning the only game played in there so far.

Last night I had my first clear out for ages. Sold a few discard IF and cheaper IF's that I'd paid no more than 20k for. Was getting between 45 and 55k for the likes of Thauvin who I packed, Parejo, and Bertrand Traore who I bought for 10k and sold for 46k! Also some Spanish guy I bought for less than 10k, who's NIF is a silver went for almost 40k. Also cleared a lot of higher rated NIF's I'd packed over the months like Ozil, Oblak, Benzema, Keylor Navas, Azpilicueta, Cech. End result is I have more than enough to pick up an Icon striker to play alongside Bergkamp in my 442. Have a few in mind, but will have a look later........
May even take them into the weekend league........

Somehow I managed to get Bronze 3 monthly rewards with a huge 3 wins in January! Got myself a red 74 rated card for my troubles!

I'm barely playing the game. The past couple of weeks, all I've really done is marquee matchups and a season or so in divisions scoring or assisting with the players that complete the weekly objectives. Just to get a crappy two player pack each time. I've basically reached the point I would normally reach in mid September whilst waiting for the next game to release! But just six months early. Game is dead.

Also good to see EA on top form yesterday. They put the group SBCs for the Player of the Month, giving some people enough time to do one or two of them, only to take it down and put up a new set this robbing a loaf of people of expensive high rated cards and a load of special Salah cards that you have to exchange. A lot of unhappy people 500k out of pocket.

I'm mostly playing Fortnite. **** Fifa.

Yeah fifa is also dead for me. At least FUT. I think they have now released more special cards than normal ones . I still think the upgrades are a hoax since they barely can make a normal football game. Let alone do something sophisticated as upgrading certain individual elements.

I am waiting for Far Cry 5....in the meantime enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn.....

Nope . I have send them an email with a request to reconsider as:
- this is pretty harsh for a first time offending
- they could see that I bought fifapoints on this account
- my club exists since 2011 so no coin trader
- they could check that it is in the same ip range so a family affair

Strange that the receiver is not punished...

Let's see what happens..

It is final. They have removed my FUT club. Despite all my arguments.

On the other hand EA made a decision for me: end of FIFA. No more scripting, no more lag, no irritation, no more crazy amount of cards.....not gonna miss it

Ouch Glad!

Gotta hurt and probably if I was in your shoes, be pi$$ed off, then relieved too - not to have to deal with that.

Been playing very little. Mainly just completing weekly objectives for very little reward, apart from getting Van Persie and Schweinsteiger birthday cards. Also picked up the Kaka card with stuff in my club and he is very good. Managed to get up to Division 2 in the few matches I've played in the past month, not even touched the daily knockout, although will do this week to complete the weekly objective. The one game I played in Division 2 I managed to unlock the Getting Dizzy trophy at last which was nice.

In the past week and a half I've managed to take my coin balance from 30k to over 1.1 million. Sold a load of 83 plus rated player due to their inflated prices, managed to make a good whack on an 85 Robert Pires I bought for 260k or so and sold for 350k when the prices got boost by the icon Ronaldo SBC. Also have sold my hundred of squad fitnesses I've collected since the game came out. They were seemingly going for the highest prices yet this weekend (instantly selling for 1.1k). Still have almost 20 pages of Informs so selling a big whack of them is probably next and have a load of coins for TOTS as usual. Whether I buy TOTS cards or more icons, I've yet to decide.

Gameplay is so bad though, it doesn't really matter what I do. Won't play many matches anyway.

Yes, I am.

I had completely stopped playing, but the market crash at the launch of FIFA World Cup re-kindled my interest.. as I was lucky enough to have a small pile of coins laying around.
