Had a decent session this afternoon (and with a bit of help!). Reeled off five straight win, without being particularly tested, putting me into a Gold Cup final and the semi final of the latest EA rehash of the Nations Cup. Even had a certain 5 year old girl put away a late penalty when I was already 5-3 up. She has been playing the skill games and has suddenly decided she likes watching me play!

Success in the gold cup final later would be fantastic and would cross off Barbados, while the Nations Cup team is a Ligue 1 side of eleven nationalities, including the excellent Habib Habibiu of CAR at striker and New Caledonian, Lautou at CB. Really liking TIF Boudabouz as well.

Managed to win the Gold Cup yesterday, after 2-0, 6-3, 3-0 and 3-0 wins. The final was pretty easy, with an early goal from TOTS Nagbe giving me the lead. It was 2-0 after half an hour after I anticipated him passing square across his CB's after a throw in. Classic Lampard getting away to score. It was pretty much one way traffic and a third arrived when Jonathan Forte set up Nagbe.

Also reached the final of the Nations Cup, but it was one of those games. Hit the woodwork four times before half time and once after to lose somehow, 2-0.

The new Gold Cup team in the following game followed the same pattern. Just couldn't score against ten men, they scored off their second chance and it looked like more misery. Fortunately TOTS David Villa levelled on 90 minutes and won it in extra time for a decent debut. The new team contains a St Kitts & Nevis player and a retired Nemanja Vidic for a final run out at CB.

Have a case of man flu at the moment, so not in the best frame of mind. Didn't stop me persevering with UT though ;D.

Must admit that it's not easy though. My drop to D3 was a good-ish one - played some decent games, but inevitably got promoted back to D1. Managed to win 2 and draw 1 (in the last 3 games) to scrape staying up. It's just so cr@p playing against these tw@ts.

Take that, together with swapping teams (coz it's getting boring) and I'm not too positive for these last 3 weeks. Even resorted to a full Pro League team swapping with a full Brazilian team - no inspiration in the team building department.

Not sure if I really want to play the demo - will have to see that.

Yesterday thought I would try someone new - another LF - for F9 - FIF (2nd iMOTM) Payet. Not much difference to his TOTS but a whopping 125k price difference (picked him up for 52k).

First game slaughtered a team with them - Payet netting 2. Swapped with the Bale team - not so good. Back to Payet team - another easy win and a goal - off to a decent start.

... and then it went pear-shaped. Slightest of 'off connections', stupid things happening, and that simply equated to me ... focusing on another aspect - how many red cards can I get.

It basically started due to the first moron simply holding left trigger protecting the ball. That, and ball rolls ... from the 1st minute. Why. Why!?!?

The whole session was simply a write-off. Should've simply shut down & gone to bed. Due to that also received a temporary ban on Xbox Live - the communication one - can't send message for a week or something.

I need a break.

Well well ... no play last night must have done wonders. Tonight's games were ... flawless. Started with a 0-3-3 record in D2, needing 3 wins from 4 games to stay up. WWW ...

Then, new season, won 6 straight games for 9 wins from 9 games tonight. There was only 1 game where it was close (3-2), but the rest were a breeze. Must have scored 5+ goals in 4/5 of the games. Everything was just so spot on, goals flying in from everywhere ... it was great!

And when I mean they were flying in, this is NIF Khedira:

... and NIF Bale (who is obviously pretty OP regardless):

... and Kroos chipping in with a 25 minute hat trick (got a 4th in the 90th min too):

Just wish I could trim these, or start them at a specific time!

Besides winning the gold cup for the 50th time, I have been using a mix of Spanish 2nd Division guys and players already in my club for the Spanish Cup that is almost finished. The team actually played really well. IF Andone who I've been sat on for months is a very good striker who scored some nice goals. But the star was a non rare 75 rated Spanish CAM called Oscar. Seemed like a good card and hit a 5 minute first half hat trick earlier on. Couldn't get past the semi in that one though.

Seem to have hit one of those patches were ever opponent keeper puts in god like performances and my keepers are pretty much useless! Two teams I have at the moment are one with an Ethiopian RW from the Norwegian League, that IF striker from Rosenborg and Neymar at LW. Guess who has the worst goal and assist return of the three!!
Also have a team in the latest Bundesliga (again EA?) cup, but with a bit of French League added on to get in the New Caledonian CB. Can't get past the semi final of each so far, despite being on top in those games.
Saw one keeper make the most incredible double save against me, as I lose 2-1 with the shot count being 13-2 in my favour. Sums up my games last night and this morning.

Amazing that this game has such a hold on you. No, actually, let me set that straight ... I love football which makes me want to play. Sucks that these irritating morons can't play the same ... well, most of them.

After the Wednesday's night's session, needed 3 points from 4 games to get back into D1. Was a little surprised when it started easy again, notched up a 4-1 win - great, back to D1 we go ::)

First game up - another 4-1 win and after 30 min in the next game, 3-0 up.

Hmmm ...

He manages to get back 2 goals quickly, but thankfully I hold out for the win. Narrow the next and then the BS flooded back. Genuinely cannot tell if it's D1 or connection, or their connections in D1 ... it was just chalk & cheese to the previous dozen wins in a row.

I managed to win the last game of the evening, but essentially there were 5 losses in between - must say that 2 of those were quits even before a goal had been scored. Laggy - the jittery type, couldn't care, quit - I'm not wasting my time even if the opponent is your typical delinquent abusing right trigger - running dead straight & you know he can't defend for sh!t. Would be an easy game normally, but I'm not putting myself through that.

FYI - identical teams played with over both nights. Did not swap them other than brought in a SIF Eriksen for his NIF - won the first 3 with him taking part in 2.

Well, these chalk 'n cheese sessions continue. Last night, lost the first to get relegated, won 7 of the next 9 to get promoted again ::).

Won the next 2 as well ... then lost 3. One of the losses was against the highest rated front 3 - all 3 TOTY's. What stunned me was the fact that there were 3 pass across goals - 3. No shame & celebrations ensued. Honestly, I just shake my head delinquents like this.

Oh ... passed the 3.5M coins in match earnings ... :o

Got to the final of the Manchester Derby Cup but managed to lose 2-1 despite constant shots on goal in the second half. Unfortunately I could only score one goal.
In the Gold Cup, I just cannot get past the semi final at the moment.

Having some decent matches, but it has reached the stage where I want 16 to end now and start again for 17.

After being all over the place the past few days, managed to get some decent results last night. Went on a seven game winning run, winning my 51st Gold Cup and lost the final of the Manchester Derby Cup (second time now!) to end the run unfortunately.
In winning the Gold Cup, I played someone from the EA dark side in the semi finals that I've played in tournaments a few times. Managed a 3-3 draw with him equalising on 120 minutes, saved three times with him shooting for the match and eventually won after about 10 penalties each.
The final was similar. Was 1-0 up but let in a complete BS goal with the last kick to have to go to extra ti e. Then went behind to more nonsense, but luckily leveled with Neymar. The penalties were a lot easier this time, winning 4-1.
Star of the team was IF Gytkaer, the Danish striker in the Norwegian League. My god his finishing is something else!

Once again, my next team will depend on what the features tournament is later, but Bolivia, CAR, and Liechtenstein are the most likely nations to make an appearance somewhere.

Got a couple of new teams that I have struggled with against the standard BS gameplay and joke rebounds. One has a Ugandan LB and the other a Bolivian RW. I swear almost every goal I concede is a rebound off the post or keeper, or some random midget winger that has 25 defending but can make a perfect tackle or interception whilst running at full speed from point blank range. Almost had enough of 16 really.

Yeah ... heading in the same direction. There are still a few teams that I'm enjoying, but struggled to get games last night - first time actually. Think most were playing the demo.

Started last nights session on the back of four straight wins and in the semi final of both the Gold Cup and Open Season Cup. Over the course of the next four game, think I had one shot on my goal and managed to win all four to win both cups. The final of the Open Season Cup was ridiculous. Was 4-0 up by half time and cutting the opposition to pieces.

It's getting extremely difficult to make new teams now as there are so many players in very short supply, missing entirely or ludicrously priced. Also my coins are dwindling as prices are crashing by the hour, and nothing is selling.
Have managed to get a couple more teams built, one containing a shockingly bad LW from Nicuaragua (and Messi at RW to balance things out!) and the other cointaining a terrible LB from Faroe Islands. Plus in a different formation to the usual 433(2) and 433(5) that I have been using for months almost exclusively. Not sure how many more cups I'll win now to be honest.

After eight straight wins, I started tonight with two new teams each with a horrendously low rated player from obscure football countries Nicaragua and Faroe Islands.
Somehow managed to win seven games out of eight (there were a few rage quits thrown in). This gave me a second consecutive Open Season win. Especially pleasing as my LB was a 55 rated Faroe Islander! 4-1, 5-0, 5-1 and 4-1 wins meant it was all a bit easy!

Manager to get to the semi final with my new false 9 team with the Nicaraguan LW. His terribleness is balanced out by having Lionel Messi on the other wing!

New team is almost ready but am waiting on a few players selling to be able to afford the last couple of players. The team will contain Central African Republic's Habib Habibou at striker. He's a player I've used quite a bit in past special tournaments but haven't been able to win them. Kind of a silver Drogba.
