Won the dkt on Tuesday first go. Am flu ridden at the moment though and have only played a couple more games since. However I have won 21 out of my last 24 games so things aren't going badly. Still not really motivated to play it.

Packed Verratti twice in ten seconds from the Lucas Moura transfer SBC the other day, and Modric from rewards which was decent.
Have tried to play the weekend league but it's just so bad this weekend. So much delay, players often feel like you have little control over them and just take forever to respond which is fatal in fut champs.
Ended Friday 3-4 and gave up mid afternoon. Just couldn't take the delay!
Tried again this afternoon for a bit. Started off ok but the delay and unresponsiveness started after a couple of games and I ended up 7-8. Felt no desire to try again. Played a hell of a lot of Fortnite instead and had some great duo and squad games. Much more fun than weekend league.

How the game can feel so different from one weekend to another is beyond me. Last weekend all was smooth. Didn't get any noticeable delay. This weekend it was rude from the first game. What a mess.

Well tws you are a real die-hard. I must say that it impresses me that you are still playing.

It's not too bad playing during the week. Feel like I can give most people a match and close game however many Futchamps reward cards or Icons they have. However after the weekend league last weekend, half the games I just felt completely powerless to stop many opponents. It was so delayed and unresponsive and my players just so slow to react, that you just feel like you can't win the game. This doesn't happen during the week.

This week I won both dkt's first go. The first one was simple, 6-0, 2-0, 4-0 and 6-2. Yesterday however, I got really good opponents after the first round. Ended up winning 6-3, 1-0, 4-4(4-3 pens) and 3-2. All three opponents were really good, and no doubt during the weekend a game with them would be down to the lottery of unresponsiveness, delay or lag. During the week though, you feel so much more in control of your players and can beat good opponents if you play well.

Bought my third icon, the 86 Frank Rijkaard. Not used him much but seems pretty good. In weekend league I played thirteen games and ended up 8-5. Gameplay was much better than last weekend, but didn't really want to play it.
Played a couple of games in the dkt today, two wins but that was enough.

Hello all ...

Yeah TWS, still playing my side. Easier with the 11 wins so not even come close to finishing games these past 2 weekends. Didn't help that I had 2 long weekends in a row, and both being extended helped too - those went well.

Unfortunately the game play can be off at times makes it harder to be consistent. Throw in the community and the experience is not so pleasant.

Have been aiming for a team where the average card stat for outfielders is over 80, and 100 chem team. This is where I'm at:

Need some 3M coins still :o :o :o ... not sure I'll make it, tbh.

Won the dkt on Tuesday first go with 3-2, 2-0, 2-0 and 5-4 wins. The final was one of those silly games. I had 25 shots to my opponents 5. Conceding 90th minute equalizers, kick off goals all that stuff!
Didn't play any games yesterday, but turned my attentions to the J-League SBCs. I've no intention of completing it for silly coins, and sold a load of players from the expensive teams, including a couple of extinct players from the very first team on the list. Had so many players from all the teams that the vast majority of the teams i needed to only buy one or two cheap silvers or an occasional 200 coin bronze to up the chemistry. Did twelve of them, getting some nice sellable silver players and was making a bit of profit. Then did a team whose reward was a small rare silver players pack. Somehow I paced Mesut Özil from it! A nice 42k boost so getting some nice coins coming in for no cost at all.

Apparently the latest weekend league trend is block all the top 100, anyone that they play on Champions Channel with a high rank and easy game your way to the top 100 or Elite 1. I guess this is what the pro's are doing now they can't I.D. each other through kits and morse code ect. The whole thing is just a complete farce really. They need to make major changes or just scrap the whole thing.

Totally agree.

What I don't get is that EA didn't allow blocking last year. Then they start hiding bits so they can't recognise them, but I'm sure the pro's whined about that.

So, they got blocking working again. WTF is up with that.

So, yep, how this is their eSport platform of choice, is ridiculous!

Yeah, apparently. That is straight from a guy off the forums I play Fortnite with that could get top 100 last year but has barely played the game in 18. The game is just such a mess. The main Fifa streamers play Fortnite more than actual Fifa as well now! Everything is just so wrong with the game right now, and more than a couple of games at a time just isn't fun. That's the main problem.

Makes sense. Why try play and think you can become a pro & earn something from this - only to see EA do nothing to truly stop the manipulation of the top 100.

If they're to base the qualification process off a dodgy foundation, then it simply makes a farce of the process. Unfortunately, for every 1 decent talented individual that drops out, there are way too many delinquent tw@ts that take his place.
