Was out last night - watched Thor:Ragnarok. With Taika Watiti directing this one, it was awesome to see the Kiwi humour (and actors) in there. I don't watch trailers any more so had no idea about certain aspects. His character in the movie was spot-on Kiwi and Jeff G. was also a treat. Absolutely loved it! ;D

Anyway ... meant that I only played 1 last night - a 5-4 win against a team with 2 silver strikers. His Pickford was in incredible form and I had to come back from being down - 3 times! My CB's gave away 2 penalties too ::). So stressed after that I went and read my book in bed. Done.

Oh ... and did make a few team changes.

Kept to 352 as I do best with width in the midfield and a 2-striker partnership. The CAM has been a struggle - really wanting a 91 Ronaldinho (3M+ is simply too dear) - and wanting a decent partner for Neymar but must be a tall, strong, good finisher. IF Cavani is still going to go down in price and therefore I too settled on THE legend - another year, another MVB ;D.

Got Hagi at CAM too as nothing in L1 excites me.

As suspected, I'm going to get nowhere near enough time to play my games this weekend. Had a crazy 12 hour plus shift, and more of the same the next two days. Managed to play five tonight ans ended up 3-2.
First game I was 2-1 down going in to the 90th minute, but won 4-2 without extra time. It was like his defence just disappeared! That game saw two goals for Mario Gomez. That took him to 101 goals in his 100th game. Also has 59 assists, so really liking him this year. Tiredness started setting in quickly though. WLWLW was my sequence of results and by the end of the last game, an easy 2-0 win, I knew that was enough. If I hit anything over Silver 3 this week I'll be amazed. Bronze 1 will probably be me done if tonight's tiredness is anything to go by.

MvB nice Kiwi! Amazing card and an amazing player. Hagi feels so weak but does it show?

Agreed mate - great card indeed. Current stats - 27 games with 29 scored and 18 assists.

Hagi - yep, definitely not the strongest! He's scored 22 times with 16 assists in the same amount of games.

After my brief use (25 games) and profit with Schmeichel, I am looking to get another Icon soon. Nearly bought an 86 Overmars, but changed my mind due to the very limited time I'll have to play this weekend. Will have a look at things again on Monday when I'll need to win the dkt.

11-11 after last night's games. Quit the last 2 so ominous signs ;D.

Aw man ... this game. Typical game:
• Go into it thinking "don't rage, don't rage".
• Team screen ... ah, PL twat incoming.
• Kick-off - sprint forward.
• Rage.

Worse if I concede and then I'm thinking I can't do this and simply want to move on.

Genuinely, it's not the losing. Sure, I super competitive and winning is high up on the list. It's just the monotony of the same-old, same-old.

Stuck record I guess - it happens to us all.

Ah mate, thanks ... But this game kills me.

Third game (and last for this morning!) Up 2-0, not the best player - at all. Find myself down 2-4 by the 60th min. The changing and 1-2's ... you can't touch it or defend against it - just insane.

Manage to equalise, and score in ET. Proceed to concede twice - again changing is just 'not there' - and simply switched off the console. I know it's psychological and at times I'm only see what goes against me, but these little bumps on your player when you have possession - where his player recovers quicker - it's driving me nuts.

Part of me wants to physically smack the idiot I'm playing against as the majority are simply abusing flaws. The other wants to smack an EA exec + dev for allowing the crap to happen.

Again, saying the same things ... expecting different results. Why? :D

Desperate this weekend so far.  Should take a break but am well in the f**k it attitude

Getting beaten by some shocking players, with the usual up 2-1, then in the last 5 mins concede the equaliser then to in extended 90th min time get beat with a f**king rebound goal.

12 wins with 9 f**king games left.  No chance unless the game lets me win.  Don't know how much longer I can put up with this

My 2 teams work... during the week.  Come Friday they go on holiday.  This EA adaptive difficulty has ruined what I thought was a great addition to the FIFA series.

Guess my chances of regional qualifiers is out the window  ;D

I pray that come Wednesday and the XB1X I can find a new vice as FUT has won me out

Didn't bother last night. So three wins from the five games I've played will give me Bronze 2. Just couldn't face it yesterday after work. Did a few of the squads from all the different League SBC's. Didn't pack anything.

Did ok on Fortnite though. Was so close to my first solo win. The three games I played ended in 5th, 2nd and 10th place finishes. A game that you actually have control of, not the seemingly out of your hands stuff of FIFA!

Ended on 16. So ... 11-9 by Saturday night and 5-15 for Sunday (just finished at 9:30 PM). Spent a good part of the day sanding down a table, so only really played the morning bit, few games during lunch and then evening onwards.

Way too many quits of course. CBA so don't really care too much. Great thing is MvB is proving to be great - as expected - 50 games, 47 goals and 24 assists. Plenty of finishes from outside the box.

EA really needs to get Seasons on dedicated servers - would play that more during the weekend tbh. My brain just can't get over the AI in Squad Battles. That and the fact that there is only 4 games/day.
