Some of the stuff going on is incredible. The whole thing is totally bent. From all the Brazilian pro's having a secret discussion group to decide on what kits and badges to use to avoid each other to German pros handing out free wins to other pro's when their own chance of qualification has gone. The whole thing is a total farce. How this mess of a game can ever be taken seriously as an esport, I'll never know.

EA need to act but we all know they'll do nothing and hide behind Team of The Group Stage for the Champions League that is rumoured this Friday and associated packs and SBC's.

There was a Fortnite tournament at the weekend and the guy that was about to win was kicked and perma banned in the final match. His friend that he plays with was within shooting range so he realised and missed on purpose and let him escape. There was a game message about teaming in solo matches a week or two back and that it carried a permanent ban. Guess this means they have zero tolerance. EA should do the same.

I see they have removed a bunch - including that Krasi guy.

But still - as you say - there is SO much still wrong with this.

that is pretty bad stuff. EA will never ever take action as long as the cash is coming in.

The bizarre thing is that they tried to do micro transactions with the Star Wars 2 title and got slaughtered. They have reversed that but the FIFA community are like sheep, they will follow. So actually is a good approach of them to give the community some new shiny cards and everything is okay again.

Did you had a look at the MM SBC of this week. A joke! They fully neglect the final of the MLS, the game where the champion will be crowned. They forget about a Mersey side derby and a Manchester Derby. In stead they gave us HSV vs Wolfsburg  ::) and Midllesb vs Ipwich. Crazy

this happened to me last night, I can laugh about it now but I turned out the PS4. No FIFA for me in the coming weeks:

I am in the red shirts,.....how can this be a penalty?

Hi fellas.

Rough couple of weeks in FUT world.  2 weekends ago, went back into it after a week off not qualifying with renewed hope, but was soon dashed and finished on 11 wins.  Couldn't be bothered to play the last 7 or 8 games.
Same story this past weekend but started off not being able to buy a win.  Lost the first 8 off the bounce.  Really wasn't that bothered though.  Still came back to win 10 on the spin and finished on 10 wins... again not bothered to complete all games.

Sold off Neymar and went back to the trio of Vidal, Alaba & Boateng with Neuer in goal.  Neuer was good but no better than Ederson.  Sold him and put Martial, Bailly & Valencia as my right 3 in the 4312 and went with Firmino CAM, POTM Mane RS and brought in TIF Salah (Striker Version) at LS.  Relegated the ever reliable Suarez to the bench though.

Deadly is the word i'd use for the team now.  Requalified at the 2nd attempt and just won the 2nd DKT at the first attempt. So WL is upon us.  I fully expect my team to be useless and can these days pretty much tell after the first 2-3 mins which team is going to win.  More time to play this weekend too so might extend the misery by playing a full set of games, but Fortnite has gripped me a bit so will see.  PUBG is on the horizon too.  Both come as a much needed welcome from the FUT mire

Good luck to all who play this weekend and well done to those who don't play it

Well the pull of TOTGS Mbappe changed my Weekend League.

Nothing going for me but kind of enjoying the matches.  was 3-8 early doors, then Mbappe.  Sold him for 500k and briught in TOTGS Firmino.  That LFC front 3 are frighteningly awesome (ST Salah & POTM Mane)

Went on enjoying the games and finished up at  comfortable 21 wins.  Best WL gameplay since the first week or 2.  Yeah same BS but some really good gameplay

Wonder if POTM Salah will be STR or RW ??

Till next time fellas

Well done Simmo - Mbappe too.

Only had about 10 hours this weekend. Got to 16 wins with 5 to spare - trying to fly through them at the end so quit quickly, even if it was against a turd who can't play to save his life, but certainly knows how to abuse ... I guess that'll describe the majority anyway.

Tried the DKT - got to the final but not played as yet. I was "out-FIFA'ed" yesterday.

Played quite a few games this morning. Mixed bag really. Lost in one dkt final. Had some decent games, including one against a guy I played in one of my few games last week. Wears a weird kit, and has a strange gamer tag and uses SIF Sorloth as a second half sub, but plays nice stuff. Beat him last week, but he beat me this time. No problem with that though. Unfortunately played a few guys who swapped from 4321 to 41212(2), subbing on random fast players at kick off, and swapping fast wingers to strikers and spamming the heck out of through balls all game. As above can't play but good at abusing the very flimsy game mechanics.
Final match I played was just strange. Played an opponent who played possession stuff, tricky dribbling and subtle use of different skill moves at very difficult to predict and defend against times. Went a goal down mid way through the first half and thought I'd get destroyed. Somehow equalised at the end of the half with my only shot through a well worked De Bruyne goal with a great finish from the Belgian. I had 33% possession and just one shot. Second half was just mad. I won 4-1 and ended up having a total of 21 shots with 13 on target. Also managed to end with 45% possession. That is one hell of a turn around! I completely destroyed him.

Tonight, marquee matchups gave me Dzeko as my best player, but I managed to aquire a couple of Nice players to complete my first club in the Ligue 1 sbcs. From the Premium Electrum pack I got a walk out. Gerard Pique. A nice little 30k boost to my coins.

Played a few games this morning and a common theme to every game I'm playing is starting to develop. The dkt is becoming as much of a grind as the weekend league. I think six of the last seven teams I've faced have had Bakayoko in the midfield with wingers as strikers, either Sane, Mane, Martial or Son. Nobody seems to use actual strikers as strikers anymore.
Won all my games though. Bergkamp absolutely on fire and is the difference in so many of the games I'm playing. The guy is absolutely incredible at CF in a 4411.

Indeed a nice boost. Got an Isco myself so was worthwhile doing this time round.

Funny how you say that with that game. Probably not at the level (smarts) of your opponent but I do find it interesting without it morphing into a conspiracy (guess it's one already!), where a game that I was dominating, conceded 2 quick goals after HT. This was in Draft on Tuesday night.

Then it ebbed my way and I scored 2 in quick session and another later, to win.

Anyway. Won the DKT on Tuesday evening early, easy run so back at it this weekend. Will probably take it a little easier as I am on leave for 3 weeks after Friday, meaning my whole Monday I can play (WL ends at 8PM my time).

Guys I really respect you all for playing so many games. After 2 or 3 games I am having enough of all the scripting, bs and game flaws. I just cannot take more of it.

The terrible game play and obvious in game nonsense has killed my addiction this year. Will easily be the least number of games played on a Fifa game since leaving Pro Evo and PS2 in 2009. I just can't take more than a couple of games of it and have no wish to play it everyday any more.

Yeah mate ... I'm struggling.

The defensive AI on my players is just shocking. Icon CB's 87 Desailly and 88 Ferdinand - go missing at times just like 80-rated NIF's. This game is so geared to scoring goals that the attacking AI trumps the defensive ... multiple times over.

Amount of goals I'm conceding with

I was done for the evening when the kid came through - said he'd play a game. The utter BS in the game was hilarious watching as a non-player - had to laugh. Absolutely smashes the guy, but him conceding a penalty, then his keeper going down to save only for the ball to roll over the keeper's hand. He's leading to concede another laughable goal and game goes to penalties.

I take over - dive the right way all 5 times - only for the keeper to constantly dive over it or like one, dived into the net - with the ball. Simple garbage stuff ... and that was him done for another week after that one game.

With that last loss I think the record is something like 10-9 so far. Still have the 2 full days to play so will take it easy. Not sure why I do this though ... insanity.

Ended Sunday night on 14-12.

Got the 4 W's today with 7 to spare ... and then lost them all! :o :o That included giving up a 3-0 lead. I know I lose my cool waaayyyy too easily, but this dynamic difficulty cr@p is SO obvious to see ... and that pi$$es me off so badly.

One word: insanity?!

Sorry to hear that but it shouldn't come as a surprise. On the bright side: next time it can be the other way around
