Did not know that about the ball - that's flippin' great! Indeed - shadows and pitch patterns are simply an annoyance of note!

Good one on the results mate. Those are really creative teams and of course, not being the norm would be great (or scary) to see at the loading screen.

Played four games on Tuesday and got two wins and two draws to hold Division 1 with my two false 9 super teams. Really liking false 9 again. Was probably my favourite formation the past two FIFA's, but struggled with it at the start of 17. That was before I could even qualify for the weekend league but nothing was working for me back then!

Not had time to play since though. Marquee Matchups were pretty easy and best pulls were a hunter card from a free gold pack in one of the packs, and a first for me, a draft token!
With all these weeks of MM's giving Rare Gold Packs as the reward, I've pretty much got no non rares left. Is this a ploy to get people to open the standard packs by EA?

Not sure if I'll play any weekend league or not. At the moment probably no.

I played three games yesterday evening and look like I'm going to be the same as last week. Three games and two wins!
First game the opponent had one shot, I had 13, 11 on target. The opponents keeper was a standard Butland. Lost 1-0. I'm way past the point of raging at this game now so played another. 15 shots to 3 in my favour. 3-3 and a penalty shoot out. After ten penalties each I managed to get the win. Next game was a walk over and the guy quit when my second goal eventually went in. That was enough for me.

I did play ... got the 18 wins with 3 games to spare. Did the usual quit in some - probably not as many as the past few weeks. Lots of ar$seholes still playing of course. Anyway ...

Played a few in the DKT tonight. One game - guy kicks off and proceeds to ... keep passing. He actually was quite decent and moving the ball around ... and that's about it. For his 56% possession (not the most thankfully!) he did manage his 4 shots on goal. Zero returns whilst I managed 9 with 2 goals. Afterwards I decided to add up the amount of passes ...
• for me ... I struggled a bit (he was HP too) - 81% pass accuracy with 97 successful passes.
• for him ... 87% pass accuracy ... for his 232 passes :o :o.

I ended up getting five wins from the eight games I played. Three of them went to penalties and won two of them, so was a bit of a grind, but no real idiots encountered. Didn't have much time to play really. Had to work Saturday and went out for the evening and didn't get in until after 6am after the circus in Las Vegas.
Played a few in the dkt this morning. Made a couple of crazy teams including one with Mertesacker, SBC Barry and Tom Cleverley. Made the semi final but lost to a complete idiot playing as though his life was on the line. Subs and formation changes at kick off. Lol.
Finally played the first round again to a terrible guy using the typical 4321 premier league team. Somehow was 2-0 down straight away. Pulled one back when a ridiculous free kick from SBC Suarez hit the post from 40 yards and Gareth Barry tapped home. Just couldn't score though. Shots hitting the inside of both post and falling back to Butland, ridiculous saves, the full lot! Then on 85 he lobbed, my defender interested, got tackled instantly and Mane scored for him. Kept going and on 89 minutes while trying to pass around the back, he passed straight to my TOTS Hummels who was upfront due to all out attack. He made it 3-2. Stole it straight back from kickoff when he tried to run straight though with Vardy. A few passes later and Rafinha fed Messi and it was 3-3. Soon scored again with Suerez in extra time, and held on fairly easily in extra time, despite the stamina levels of Cleverley, Barry and Rafinha being pretty much non existent. A nice win.
May carry on later, plus have a draft to play from the free token it gave me the other day from marquee matchups. However. I've downloaded Just Cause 3 for free from this months PS+ so may be on that later on.

The game was being pretty horrendous yesterday. Got to the semi final and was 1-0 up with not long left but got the dreaded dc loss! Then the first round. Exactly the same. 1-0 up in the second half and bang! Lost. Of course I didn't get disconnected from PSN though.

Gave up and played later. First game went 1-0 up and the guy just quit. Thought it was EA servers screwing me again but not this time! Next game won 7-0, then a 2-0 win in the semi final.
The final was against a pretty strong opponent. I managed to get back to 1-1 midway through the second half and then battered him for the last ten minutes or so. Had about three or four really good chances but didn't score. Then in injury time in no danger at all, my centre back did that horrible auto lunge animation where they miss the ball completely and the AI gifts the opponent a one on one. He scored, and didn't play anymore after that. Was enough for me!

As it's possible I might have a bit of time this weekend, I took the main team into the knockout tournament, as well as one I chucked together with the special Steven Gerrard card. The first game was a walk over, 4-0 up in the first half when the opponent quit. The second game was a lot harder. Opponent was good and I went 1-0 down mid way through the second half. It was very tight but luckily my untradable 91 Gareth Bale levelled and I went on to win 3-1 in extra time. The semi final was another easy one and the opponent quit at 2-0 down in the first half.
The final was just horrible. Standard idiot opponent. Superteam and a pause to change from 4321 to 41212(2) before kick off. Wingers at striker and CAM. Plus he had several high rated reds so obviously knew what he was doing. Things started badly when he tried to run straight through me at kick off and my defender accidently breathed on him after tackling. 1-0 down from the free kick in the 2nd minute.
After that though it was one way traffic. He didn't have another shot on my goal until the 90th minute. On 40 minutes, Bale smashed one past his red Lloris. Not long into the second half, Bale again scored, hitting one in off the post when well placed in the box. There were no further alarms to the most standard weekend league style of attacking possible until injury time, but I think he was a bit surprised at the comical nature he got the ball on the edge of the box and hit a weak shot straight at my TOTS Ter Stegen.
Qualification for the final weekend achieved!

Good job! Regardless of how many times I play this game, beating idiots like that is a plus! ;D

For me, I guess one of my real gripes is the connection in Seasons. It so hit-n-miss that I prefer to only play FUT Champs. So, even when in a final and a goal or 2 up, I generally quit. There is no desire to gift them the win as like your opponent, they're idiots and don't deserve my gratitude :D. I just can't fae a game in Seasons. Hope EA address this in the future.

Also, I've come to the point that even in another game I'm just quitting if I feel that things are simple BS. Last night, trying to finish off a game (was after 11PM & tired from playing Star Citizen), guy equalises in Fergie time. Not the best player so was super frustrating. Minutes into ET, Bale is 1v1 with the keeper, hits the post. Think that was the 5th time I'd hit in the post in the game and there must have been another 5 other opportunities where I'd be putting them away, just to see a defender slide in or Butland saving with this shoelaces. I quit. CBA. Not worth it. Console off.

So ... this weekend league ... that wonderful word that the new generation use ... TILTED!

Started out ok last night 4-2 & then a couple of wins meant 6-2 was a pretty decent start. Need 14 wins for Gold 1 & the lofty goal of 26 wins for Elite 3. Why did I EVER think that 26 wins could be achieved.

It was an absolute horrendous run ... something like 1 win in 16 :o :o. Sure, there were some competent people in there, but the majority is ... "the norm". Managed to then get 5 wins in the next 6 or 7 games - only need 2 wins to get Gold 1 and shut down FUT Champs for '17.

WOW!

Played just seven games in total. Ended up 5-2. Was coming up against annoying opponents all the time. First game was an easy 6-0 win, but usual grind vs Son and friends the rest of the time.

I'm in the quarter final of the draft from the free token I got a couple of weeks ago, but with division 1 and 2 of seasons completely broken, looks like I'd have to play from scratch on my little girls account if I want to play any further FUT17.
If you don't know, because getting promoted from division 2 or not getting relegated from division 1 is supposed to get you into the weekend league, the game doesn't know what to do with there being no weekend league to be put into! It you do what used to earn you weekend league qualification, the game crashes and becomes stuck and unplayable! Good old EA!

WTF! That's just nuts. Stuns me that they can't get basics like that right.

I ended on 16 wins - so 2 more than required. Was having fun with the last games - approx 8 left and had the 14 wins but then. Guy I meet a number of times ... paused to change, I quit. 'Finished' the games with about 28 hours to spare ;D.

With the kid also getting into Star Citizen more & they're finally getting closer to a full Persisten Universe, I'm thinking this FIFA was the last one where I've spent this amount of time playing the game. No doubt will play plenty, but certainly won't be putting the amount of time into the Weekend League for example.

Funnily enough I managed to find green latency games in D2 last night.

Playing with this:

With subs/reserves:

Having fun with it!

Edit ... need 135 games for DDG to get him to 2000 games :o. That'll be a first!
