Thanks BB - I did post the team in the WL thread. Happy for you to share at any point, mate.

On the team, personally I would do the swap - Coutinho is great and would change the midfield to a beast CDM (N'zonzi's stats are ridiculous!), Pogba becomes the OP can-do-it-all CM & Coutinho and weave his magic.

Just my thoughts ... :D

Deffo love Coutinho has 28 in 27 from Cam but Pogba has scored a few in trial games from Cam. Had lukaku's NIF and didn't like him tried the IF and don't like him have had more joy from Origi

4 games - first 2 rage quits - first at 42nd min, with the score at 2-1  & the next at 52nd min (3-0). Lost a disappointing game & then ...

... 2-0 up after 11 min ... he starts scoring OG's. It's now HT and the score is 17-0. Have spent the 2nd part of the first half trying to keep the ball away from him!

Why ... ?

Not enjoying it at all feels like im fighting my players every game 6 wins from 17 did quit about 8 horrible games players can't pass can't run can't dribble but their players are like gods.

Had one game where my icon over my players was BLUE wtf it felt like he was controlling them at times especially when i was defending and when i paused to make subs it wouldn't let me got a few vids of it too.

All losses where either me quitting or by on goal

Saw that on the feed - weird one & obviously frustrating!

Good Luck with the rest mate. After a good run, the kid lost 3 in a row. Wasn't a happy person! Has lots to do now, to repeat the last few weeks to get Elite.

Hey OT ... good card. Wouldn't spend the 40k+ on him though, if the NIF is doing well.

Have yet to play in the weekend league. Have failed to qualify by losing in ten finals since the game came out and being stuck in Division 3 and 4. The last few weeks have been working crazy shifts that one week mean I have lots of time to qualify but no time to play at the weekend or no time to qualify and have to play seasons at the weekend.

Until yesterday! The stipulations of "minimum four league and four nationalities was perfect for my IF Al Soma team. Just end up playing against standard BPL teams with random players chucked in. Their loss of chemistry against my 100 chem 4231 "broken in" team has been a total mismatch. Qualified last night and have reached the final again this morning, barely conceding a goal and scoring at will.
With solid work the next two days, followed by Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, this will be the weekend when the 4321 Musa pace teams get met full on. Pretty sure I know what sort of rubbish to expect. The desperation of Division 3 multiple by one thousand!

Had some people over (friends from the US), so was not able to sit with the kid during the last games. He started well - got 16 wins from 19, but had 3 losses in a row - should have won 2 of them, but he was struggling to create chances, and then the little he did have, the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo & Bergkamp weren't putting them away.

It unsettled him - even winning the next 3 - he still wasn't playing well ... showed with results of LWLWL. This meant he had the tough ask of 8 wins in the last 10, to get Elite 3.

Slight change-up in the team, but it meant a pause to start with. Not always 'nice', but it did turn the tide a bit - 5 wins in a row ... looking good, but for the interruption of my mate's wife. She came & sat down and started chatting - he stopped playing, so decided he would finish his last games on Monday morning.

Bad mistake. Horrible laggy games mean 4 losses from 5 and missing out on Elite for the first time in 5 weeks.

Here's the thing ... when you start with this, and you have a decent-ish run, it hooks you even more in. With that decent run, you auto qualify for the next week and ... just continue.

7 weeks - I estimate a little over the 1M in coins earned - this is apart from the untradeable monthly rewards (approx 425k). One week to go and he only needs 6 wins for Elite status and another 11 cards. If they're of similar value - it will mean that in the 2 months, he would have earned around 1.2M in players (pretty much all sold off) and around 800k worth of untradeables ... really cannot complain!

but....the good players are getting richer and getting better players. It unbalance the game like COD did with their kill streak rewards. Casual gaming is almost gone in FIFA....at least in FUT

Yea didn't win enough last week and didn't qualify this week either TBH CBA with Fut anymore you're skill level doesn't dictate how much you win pure luck and random bounces do........

WL is a sweat fest people will do anything to win and rub it in you're face when they do.

Yeah Glad - it's a bit crazy, but ... there was a video on the one guy who got top 100 - on Xbox, so a guaranteed legend & 44 of those special cards. He took the "IF" Kante - sent to club and discarded the rest. His legend was Carragher - probably not the best but still!

In the end, these guys only player with 15, maybe 20 cards - that's it. But, that's probably the top 50 in the world. They're not playing football - it's simply hogging the ball to death. The kid specifically watched Gorilla, JukeZ to see what they were doing - a number of games (he said). Comes back and says that they're so pathetic - they're the ones that are 1 dimensional in their game play.

BB ... cannot deny that WL is THE sweatiest iteration of UT - ever - given the rewards obviously. Going back to seasons, it's so casual at times. Last week playing solo, got relegated from D1 again, but D2 is even more relaxed to play - won it and got promoted back & therefore qualified. Not that it was needed, but it's still at least a way in. I do think the qualifying is getting even more stressful and sweaty so it's almost in a no one situation, if you take that path.
