Kiwi you're lad taking the mick now with his Bronze WL team

LOL ... well mate - there is 400k in that team (includes Scream Mor on the bench). He won 3 or 4 in D1, then started the WL with them, for fun. Was 3-2 when he realised it's going to "take a bit of effort", to win 80% of games with them. The reality is you need to kill off the game with them - that's why IMO Hektik Jukez has been successful with them. It's not his play style - relies too much on passing/dribbling stats. Although there are a few very good OP bronzes, they will struggle against OP Gold teams.

Harrison - current TOTW, scored this one:

Replay shows the first & second touches were perfect, and quality finish:

absolute disaster yesterday couldn't have been any worse was 10-9 from friday so 8 from 21 was looking achievable, well let me tell you that has to one of the worst sessions i have ever had gaming fullstop 4 from 20 got so bad at on stage just put together a team with the highest rated player in every position on **** chem DGAF and that team won 2 in a row  ;D ;D ;D

Now i have read that the gameplay was at its worst this weekend but i can tell you now if i do qualify again and its anything like this i will be done, taught the wife was gonna leave me at one stage i was raging so much  ;D

Tried different formations, instructions and tactics nothing worked, just can't seem to get any luck and what was annoying me the most was looking at others Hazard out running everyone but mine running backwards to cover my fullbacks position even though he was on stay forward and get in behind.

Gonna try every formation over the next few days and see what happens maybe sell up everything and build one super team with the 45's on the bench.

Also sick of the chem exploiters pausing in the opening seconds switching formation and subbing on 90+ pace SIF Mertens

and searching for a game don't get me started on that one, should be like seasons search and put into a game they could then have a screen with a 20 second count down to pick you're kit if you back out there its loss and if you don't confirm a kit i.e sit there without choosing you forfeit and get a loss

Damn mate!

Kid finished his games last night - 29 wins. Also, a DGAF attitude to this weekend - think all round it's fatigue and with it being the qualification month, there are so many try hards out there, it's not worth it.

There are some decent ones out there - one with a GT "killerandy1" - kid played him 3 times this weekend & twice last weekend (and once back in Oct). Kid has beaten him every time, yet he still plays. It's unfortunate there's so few of these!

And yes, cherry picking games is so pathetic - EA seriously need to do something about this. In the 600 games the kid has played and me watching between 80 & 90% of them - he's probably backed out a handful of times - mostly because I take down the details and note if and when it's laggy.

The reality of it, you're supposed to play these 40 games and we kinda know it's around 13/14 hrs worth of game play. But, with these idiots picking games I reckon the kid was "in FUT Champions" between 22 and 24 hours. It's stupid.

I got to 6-6 yesterday evening and then went out to a work do at a nice quiet pub near me. Has a couple of bowling lanes was an eight team tournament. Thought it would be over about 9 or 10, and with my little girl staying at her nans, the plan was to give it a decent go last night and this morning.
Unfortunately that plan went out the window after ending up in the bars in town until 4am and feeling very rough today! Didn't even play a single game. Couldn't be bothered with how weird the gameplay was and really wasn't fit for the grind of it.

LOL ... good job mate!

So ... interesting news on the horizon - http://fifaforums.easports.com/en/discussion/232862/fifa-17-title-update-4#latest
•  No more cherry picking monkeys! WOOHOOO!!!
•  Also, no more editing formations IG so that idiots cannot have 8 defenders. Doesn't happen often, but it is a good one!
•  This one "Addressed an issue where a pass was made without a button press." has been annoying me too!
•  Not sure about this one - "Adjusted the defensive line position for low pressure tactics" - if this means people won't be able to play PTB/very low pressure tactics.

Things might be improving.

Yeah, they've supposed ti have fixed that three times already! This update sounds good, hopefully no more 24 attempts to get someone to play a game! But this is EA we're talking about. Anything could happen or magically become broken after a patch!

So after barely touching the weekend league just gone, it was into the daily tournament to attempt to qualify again. 3.5* team rating is the requirement at the moment, which basically means Musa and a load of fast, low rated Premier League League , plus a few other random players and a bench of 65 rated silvers. They also manage to squeeze Butland into the goal as well. This what every opponents team was.
It turned out to be one of the easiest tournaments I've ever played. Every opponent was as equally clueless as the next and qualification achieved!

Won the 3.5* tournament again last night. It's actually been a lot of fun beating the abominations you come up against. Normally some sort of mess with half a typical weekend league team (Musa, Martial, Kante ect) but low rated bad players that don't fit into the "style" of crap football they are trying to play. Also they have weak, fast low rated degenders who are pretty terrible. Never been so easy to outplay people! I had a few Barnet bronzes, John Akinde at striker, the 48 rated Sam Muggleton at LB (his long throw is ridiculous, like having a free kick if its anywhere in the opponents half, and they never know it is coming!). Also the pretty amazing IF Ricardo Santos at CB. Practically a low rated gold in a bronzes body!
Semi final took 19 attempts for someone to actually play, but the final was something else. Akinde vs Musa. A header to level up in the second half and a Stewart Downing striker before another from Akinde won the cup!

Weekend League cancelled. EA have completely lost control of their own game.
