Nice goals & play there mate.

What tactics do you use with 3atb? Do you change anything when meeting 433 formations?

Only instructions are on the front 3 and that is just Get in behind it is more to keep them off the wings to allow the wide mids to overlap into the free space and the CCB on aggressive interceptions he's the one likely to step out first and try to win the ball.

Tactics are

70
40
Organised

57
25
80
Free Form

45
48
60
Cover

don't switch anything Vs 4-3-3 as using Fullbacks in the wide mid positions they naturally fall back

If things aren't going my way i will up the speed to the late 80's and crossing to the high 70's brings the wide mids further forward also do this with the crossing when i notice the opponent has switched to ultra attack as you can overload his defense.

The passing options are great i do find i use the CB's quite a bit to draw their players out and on defense you find more often than not you're wide mids (fullbacks  :D ) are the players you are controlling and having 3 CB's there is less tendency for them to load one side and leave a big gaping gap for the big switch does help having the big 3 back there though  ;D

Don't think the IF's of Bonucci or Chiellini are much of an upgrade but am tempted

Cool - thanks for the detail mate. Like that aspect of controlling the wide man when defending - well, that's if I can switch properly (really struggling with that!).

Have changed to 3412 on the First Owners side - bit rough start last night - think it was 1-4! Similar to Simmo, conceding a late goal to lose after leading/dominating.

Agree, had a look at IF Bonucci & his upgrade really is minimal - pity!

Tried 3-4-1-2 and really struggled to create anything just not for me

Some top quality goals being scored:

Also reports of shielding in the corner with half an hour left, and people putting down the controller!

I've played six games, am 4-2 but have come down with some sort of flu or virus. Feel absolute crap so giving it a miss. Have time to play now, but feeling like this, just cannot face it.

had a 5 game win streak. Now on 11 wins with 13 left.

The dreams of yesterday could still be achieved  ::)

Game felt totally different today also. 4 easy, 1 tough, that I didn't deserve to win, but Ronaldo shattered the opponents dreams with a sweet half volley  8)

Watched up until the first KO rounds ...

Yeah, Gorilla wasn't impressed - I guess we all wouldn't be. Honestly though, he was out of form and struggling. When he downed his controller - probably 3/4 minutes to play in his last game, he was out by then & knew he didn't have a chance to get the ball back. Not so dramatic and I think it had to do with overall disappointment rather than specific game play.

Overall though, what a disappointment to watch. IMO, shockingly organised, horrible host (the Yank), viewing options were poor, switching between games at times was bad & the worst was that at times, even the 2 commentators didn't have a clue around what the results/standings were! I'm just so surprised that EA/ZED INK have put this on and it's pathetic.

Heard a few times that EA need to step it up massively if it wants to be recognised as a true eSport. Never quite understood that before, and now I see. Not the in-game play - swings & roundabouts & you gotta take your chances.

Woke up this morning to see the rest of the KO games and final ... nothing. Not even an option to replay on Twitch. Only one I could find was on YT - the first play-off final. I now know who won their respective sections, but want to WATCH IT! AARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Friday, kid played 4 (2-2) and I played 4/5 (only won 1). Something was off ... In between the various SBC's (did a LOT of those), other bits on & then Paris Regionals, I didn't play another game. Kid did play though - 2 quick rage quits then 5-1 and 6-0 wins. So, back on track - or so he thought. 2 losses in the next 3 followed by another 4 wins - all destroyed (16 goals scored with 2 rage quits).

Back on track ... again. Nope, 2 straight losses - again. Second one the guy had 2 shots on goal, scored twice - kid hit the post numerous times, missed an open goal with Gullit and 15+ shots on target is simply not enough to score. And that's when he quit - mid afternoon - didn't bother to play again. So, he's 11 and 6, I'm 1 and whatever ...

Not really cared at this point, must admit!

How did you get on with 3 ATB last night Kiwi doesn't sound good anyway.

So from 5 -3 last night im  13-7 after today's games some really sluggish stuff thought the new formation honeymoon was over had to endure 5 penalty shootouts winning all love powering up my pen and double tapping is at the last second into the bottom corners the keeper just looking at it  ;D

Some filthy players tonight too them ones that know the exploits and use all of them got hammered by 2 really good players think    4-3-1-2 is the 3 ATB killer struggle to track the CAM and when you step out killer pass played.
Although my last game finished 3-3 against it and won on Pens

Don't think i will get the 20 games finished tomorrow but 18 would be some achievement after consistent 14-15 win weekends

Sitting on 13 wins with 10 to go. That little win streak of 6 games came just at the right time when I thought all hope had gone and had the rage sell mind set.

At least the fat lady isn't singing anymore, just a mild hum

We go again

Gold 3 achieved. I can now breathe and tell the fat lady to politely do one.

Can't believe that I even got close after at one point Friday into Saturday I was on a 2-11 terrible run. Was stuck on 6 wins for ages.

On the plus side the team feels really good despite the losses. Will likely keep tinkering with the RW slot. Martial might get a good run out if SIF Dembele doesn't start scoring regularly.

Onto the next.....

Good one Simmo. Am 7-6 so sitting down now to play. Public holiday today so it's kinda daft to want to spoil it with FIFA. But, missus is out with the youngest (Art Gallery trip - dodged that one) ... so who know if I can 11 wins in 6.5 hours :o

@BB ... yeah, not too bad actualy. BUT ... only realised now that I had not set tactics NOT instructions! D'OH ... big one!

Now set them ... will see how it goes :D
