Kid a marathon session today. Played the 30 games :o :o ... with some time (4 hours to spare!

But ... it certainly helps when you have 17 rage quits! 16 in the first 23!! The last day does mean that you're not playing the best opponents, that's for certain - the skill rating is way down.

Once he had left for work, it meant I had a few hours to get the remaining 6 wins (I was actually - and thankfully - on 12 wins), to get Gold 3. Managed it - once again with a number of rage quits - with 6 games left. It really shows that the last day people appear to be desperate to get through their games. The moment you score that second (sometimes even only 1!), they move on. Honestly, I did the same a few times. Also, I'm dashboarding instead of forfeiting the match, saving on the fitness cards!

I then continued with the games as there was time to spare and picked up another win, and quit the next. Kid then got back, finished off the last game on the main acc with a quick rage quit, then played the remaining 4 games - winning 3 of them for 22 wins.

So, Elite 1 on the main account and Gold 2 on First Owners. Very, very happy with that!

In my 18-10, didn't have a single rage quit win. Not one this weekend!

I'm fearing the worst for the upcoming WL.

Nothing feeling good so far. Terrible run of games last night prompted me to turn off early. Couple of games this morning in the tourney helped but just not sure on what to go with. Dele Alli ...... I just don't see an improvement at all over his rubbish base card

Not looking forward to it one bit! Pulled a Coutinho from Marquee Matchups so that is a possible CAM in whatever 4231(2) I decide to go with.

I'm now aiming for the gold monthly reward, should be on track so far.  At least that way I'm guaranteed something half decent from a pack.  Will be a while away yet before we get them of course.  Are they untradeable?

They are Untradable. You're not guaranteed anything decent either. I got Danny Latza, Willian Jose and Diego Perotti as my three from December. The pack weights aren't that great. Surprise!

They normally arrive on the second Thursday of the following month, around 11pm.

Yeah Eric, mine from January were rubbish. Kit was nice though.

You need a lot of luck or get elite for the 12 IF's. Top 100 for 44 IF's

Gold is only 3

Pulled Lloris from the marquee matchup, so he'll replace Butland for the weekend

This will be me for the weekend

Milner with artist on 7 chem is an 89 LM and thinking of changing Walker for SIF Coleman who is also 89 RM on 7 chem

Could start with 5-2-2-1 and switch in game, played the majority of last weekend with 5-2-2-1 worked well and frustrated many an opponent with some rather feisty messages  ;D also hoping for a nice upgrade to Mane tomorrow.

Glad i held onto the Pogba  dupe and Aguero as there prices should peak by Thursday with the requirements

Nice Buddha. 3atb still makes my skin crawl, but its about what you are comfortable with in the WL

Going to settle on my team tonight and get some play time with it. Feels weird not having the regular players that I know well how they play. Even Kante seemed out of sorts in a different team

What about makes you're skin crawl  ;D

as you where saying Simmo played a few last night first few games early in the evening where a joy scoring for fun lovely and smooth but got promoted to Div 4 won the first game and then played 2 polish lads i presume as there team names had PL at the end and looking at there GT looked likely they were horrible slow sluggish crap.

Switched to qualifiers with an all Italian team and boom different kettle of fish altogether will hold judgement until the next batch of qualifiers when i can use my Prem team to see how they hold up on the servers.

Hoping they hold up as have never got over 14 wins using them the back 3 aren't as good as the Juve 3.

looking at bringing in a few Legends Van Basten being one as have used him in previous years and was superb but might look a a CB to replace Kos in that back 3

I don't really like legends in the game.  Partly due to fact I cant afford them mostly and they seem a bit less handicap prone.  But im sure users no doubt still experience it.

As I already had a BPL side ive put together a team assembled from packs and couple additions to make an 80 rated 'B' side.   Tried them out a couple times last night, think I lost both games, but the first one really felt that handicap/momentum or whatever was on my side.   Guy had a much superior team but I played him off the park, all players felt sharp, only problem was my head just wasn't in the games last night and couldn't take advantage of it.  Seemed really noticeable though even up till the end when the stoppage time ran on forever and some breaks were falling my way trying to hand me the equaliser.

Also my new purchase Bale has been underwhelming a bit now hes settled in.   To be fair my forms been poor too but last night, had the thought to sell him, first time ive had that.  Have held off now but you know how it goes once the thought crosses your mind.

Second game I played with the bpl reserves was against a ludicrous side, IFs, multiple legends basically I didn't have a snowballs.   How the f*ck do I get matched up against this.   No amount of handicapping was going to save in this one, especially in my form.

Your experience of Bale sounds similar to mine mate. Just didn't show up when I needed/expected

Ok ... night before last, started a new season (D1). Painful, painful stuff. Lag was near unbearable. But the stalwart that I am, I continued playing with a "BPL+2" team that the kid built to test for this weekend, and alternating them with a Serie A - 10 of them untradeable. Not quite sure what the summary of games was for the night, but it was not great.

These are the 2 teams BTW:

Serie A not quite a full team - don't like single league teams - Lehmann "makes" it not one :D

Anyhow ...

Continued the lacklustre season last night, winning 3 in a row to give some hope of staying up, but lost the last game to get relegated. It was around 8PM so the "no requirement" tournament became available. Per the kid, most people are now focusing on these tournaments, rather than playing seasons. The key issue being dedicated servers and not P2P.

Wow! What a freakin' difference! Not 1 laggy game in the 7 I played. Lost in the semi's first try, then won it on the 2nd attempt. The final was only 7 minutes long though (!) - thankfully got a goal in that time - before the game disconnected.

Not as high a return (if you stay up, get promoted or win the title), but it's not about that for me. The enjoyment of lag-free games is so much more than even winning.
