Thanks kiwi

All in it cost 550k. Got nothing over 84 rated in any of the packs  >:( no IF's. Pretty shocking that

Well after the departure, I decided to keep Ron, Pogs & Mane (for now). I brought in 5 other players. IF Kovacic, Marcelo, Vidal, Llahm and MOTM Neymar. Already had an untradeable Ramos.

TOTY Suarez vs SBC Suarez. So far you can only notice the slight difference in pace in certain situations. Deadly and definitely convinced he's the best striker in the game

MOTM Neymar. Cost a little over 2m and has been good, not 2m good, but off to a good start. Will see how his value goes over the week and swap out for the TOTGS version which is 800k cheaper.

FUT Chumps. After the previous team had 4 wins out of 21  :o the refreshed line up has 5 wins in 8 games. More fuel to the 'do cards have a shelf life' theory. No chance of gold 3 with needing 9 from 11. Game play has been way better this evening, practically 'back to normal' if there is such a thing.
See they have extended for another day. Wonder why. Would have been nice if they had offered a restart if they have done it because of their servers.

Get the last games in tomorrow in time for hopefully mane bagging a hattrick for that OTW card boost

Deffo something up with the servers Simmo slow laggy play don't think you are on the same servers kiwi so you might not see it but have no interest in it at all if thats they way its playing.

Looked at the Kane SBC again as Kiwi had highlighted Special cards would do, done with only having to buy 5 players all 1k or under

All IF's where untradeable anyway and rotting in my club

Good job BB - that's a good "cheapie" not having to snipe an IF!

Yeah - servers this side ain't bad at all, in comparison to what I've heard here & on the dark side. Well, must add that the kid has had 2 disconnects this weekend, and overall he has struggled  (worst "first 25 games" in the past 13/14 weeks). Did mean he had 4 losses in a row - worst he's ever had. Some BS thrown in there too - even had me arms in the air and scratching my head.

My side ... after the change-up to "normal teams", it went well, surprisingly. At one point was 15-10 ... and then it all went pear-shaped. Lost 4 in a row, got a win, lost some more ... rinse, repeat. Playing the last game now for fun ... 19-20.

I'm actually glad that I'm sitting this out at the moment! Horror stories all round. One guy I know should have been 6-1, but got an unable to process request message after three wins so was given losses and just gave up with a 3-4 record instead. Whole thing has been a total shambles on PS by all accounts.

Seen some lad on the Xbox CChad the AI playing 2 games in a row for him both DC on him after HT what a load of BS the Weekend should be scratched and games required for Monthly reduced accordingly.

I didn't make it after not playing the past week so haven't experienced how bad it is myself, but how are people still getting 40 wins? Also apparently there's another quit glitch that seems to have spawned apparently. The whole thing is farcical and this months is a qualifier for regionals? Lol!

I will be needing to qualify again next week after losing a couple more games with shocking connections this morning. Most I can finish up on is 17 if I win the last 5.

Think I will offload Neymar. Deffo not worth the extra 800k over the TOTGS version. Might see if I can slot a legend in somewhere. Like the look of Rui Costa to maybe replace IF Kovacic

Well, one of my games - similar situation - at HT the message showed up that he'd disconnected. I was actually down 0-2 at that stage so took it and moved on, never thought about it further.

I can understand the need for an extension, but if there are other glitches in place or whatever, it cannot replace the disconnected matches. They're simply saying "here's more time to not get games finished".

But hey ... I'm should not actually complain as WL games are heaps better this side than P2P in Seasons.

Just finished all my games, form has been up and down as usual lots of hard luck stories and a couple of heroic triumphs, was a grind though.  Needed just 2 wins from last 7 games which I only got the second on the very last game.  Went a goal behind too then opponent got a man sent off for two yellows, managed to win it 3-1 with 2 late goals.  Bit of a relief as didn't think I was going to make it.  Surely next time will be better.

Well done Eric

Finished on 16 wins, which after the start and middle was not bad. Didn't think i'd get double figures tbh

So the first 21 games I was 4-17  :o the last 19 was 12-7 & in those 7 I lost 4 pen shootouts

Feel like I've been mugged  :p

Good job Eric.

Damn Simmo ... that is unlucky! Must say that across both a/c's had a bunch of penalty shootouts. Lost 2 on the main one :o

I suppose on Tuesday evening I'll be in the qualifiers, whether it be on normal internet or 4G. Have played on both today in singles and Division 3. Was decent and smooth on both this afternoon in singles and the two divisions games I played but the four divisions games this evening, totally different. Was absolutely horredous at times. Players switching, button delay, lag. Started on the phone but switched to internet after two games but exactly the same. The whole this is a total mess right now.

I have another engineer coming tomorrow but after a complete mess of the line dropping after visit number two on Thursday, it has suddenly seemingly fixed itself somehow. After a week and a half of constant up and downs in the connection, since Friday it has gone back to normal. Another engineer is due tomorrow, so will probably be broken again tomorrow night! May have to not let them touch it.

Good luck with that tws ridiculous to be having so much trouble with it.

Do you guys use a b or fitness side in seasons or is it first XI every time? I'd normally rotate my Spanish reserves in when needed as it's actually a decent side, got If Torres and Ben yedder up front, if kovacic, if Montoya and some other half decent players.  Main issue would be backup cbs are Matthieu and Laporte so a bit on slow side.  Also the forwards while decent aren't as clinical as griezmann and Aduriz.

So when the pressure has been on results wise I've now started sometimes, using a squad fitness to get more games out the first team.

Just curious what others do?  I think I'll continue to rotate as first option, can't be bothered buying fitness cards too often although usually have them through rewards anyway.   Is your main team by far the most expensive?

At the moment I've got my main la liga side which is strong although could use a Ramos at the back.  Nearly got 700k now for my new side or 'b' side.  Feel like I'm disadvantaged in WL when I play some stacked teams and I've got that coin sitting unused, my own fault I know.

Anyway so I'm debating how to spend it.  Messi was plan A but ive leant towards thinking better to spread coins over a team than perhaps break the rating ceiling on my first team.  When you search on market a lot of messis are 5-10 games played with current owner and less goals.  It all suggests he might be good just not good enough for the money.   So plan B now A  :D is spread coins over a new team, so plans have been made to go full serie A side which would mean two equally strong teams on paper.  Could help for weekend league.

Question is - what would you do?

Yeah Eric ... IMO, with huge rewards available in WL, this is arguably the #1 problem I sit with (not the kid on the main a/c).

General thoughts/comments/notes/questions going through my head this past weekend - they're a bit random:
Overriding question is ... do you invest in that 1M team, or split between 2 x 500k teams?
• What is the goal each weekend? Gold 3 is the (obvious) absolute minimum.
• Pack luck being being pretty low at the moment, you're getting possibly 50k out of that Gold 3 finish.
• If you had to buy squad fitness cards - 39 of them - you'd probably spend that 50k on them (lowest BIN's were 1300/1400 this weekend). For me, this is daft, but for the kid who's getting 200k+ every week, it's acceptable.
• If you're close to the loss, then you can dashboard - thus not needing to refresh fitness. But, that's annoying to restart FIFA every 2nd/3rd/4th game. Don't really want to be doing this so this is a tick in the "2 team" column.
• Will the 1M team + squad fitness cards get you more than 18 wins? If yes, by how much more? Again, does it justify the use of squad fitness cards?

Then ... for me, the overriding aspect of FUT has always been the fact that I like to use many cards. So, watching the kid use 5/6 or even more cards, for the majority of these weekend leagues, becomes stale.

I'm really torn between the 2 options.

Personally, the "2 team" one has a few more positives - use them for possibly 2 weekend leagues - then swap out the "lesser performing" team. Or, only use a max 2-league hybrid which means you can bring in a different player or 2 if they're not performing. Thus, no need to change up the entire team.

Neymar has gone. Replaced by regular Messi. So far so good.

Plenty of coins in the bank to pay with. Might add ADP but don't know where to play him. Will see
