Decided to rock this in the weekend league

Midfield will either be a disaster or a masterstroke.

Early signs say.... disaster. Bale being the most disappointing. Might give them a chance to get loyalty chem and see if 7 improves them

Nice one Buddha

Well Simmo ... when I saw that my first reservation would have been the central guy - needs a CDM Casemiro type to stay back.

If you're changing it up, then maybe Vidal in the center will be better.

Yeah kiwi. They are both out the door now.

Brought in modric and put back Kovacic. Much more solid

I'm still deciding on any changes to the teams I used last week. I have MotM Amartey, who is the most OP looking silver CB imaginable, but that would mean using IF Schmeichel who I have no confidence in, and putting De Gea in the other team, but that would mean dropping IF Jullien, who I would like to keep in, and Koscielny switching teams. Also would mean no place for Lloris in either team.
Will be on the phone app during my breaks later!

I've decided to try my best to have some fun with 3412 this weekend.

Started well albeit a goal down early from a corner (go figure!). Responded by scoring 5 - he was a bit hapless - before he got a 2nd whilst I was watching a series. 2nd & 3rd games - bit off - just that little bit where you know you ain't going to score those you normally put away with ease. Both weren't the best of players either and so pretty pi$$sed off I lost both.

Griezmann missing from 6 yds (center of goal) - literally head in hand moment / double face palm. Put the console off after that.

So ... only took 3 games to ruin my fun. Why was I expecting anything else from this flawed game that aides the putrid community with Musa up front. Why ?!?!

Off to bed I think before I really start a rant ...

Bye.

Just back home after couple days away so got my rewards to open, for some reason I'm mildly optimistic although I'm sure the first pack will put an end to that lol.  Wonder if this weekend will be a rollercoaster like the last two, I hope not this time but it kinda goes with the territory.  Will report back later.

Rewards were actually decent for me for once. De Gea and an IF, lots of squad fitnesses, easily over 150k from Gold 3 and also the 30k which is pretty decent.
Also a MotM from MM's.
Talking of MM's, them coming yesterday probably means something is coming at 6pm. Problem with this is that the servers will probably be over run and weekend league will be a write off, impossible to play properly, tonight. This is the worry. Need to get some games done tonight, as I think time will be limited for me this weekend. Servers misbehave and I'll struggle.

Meh

Aaaand agree.

A SIF Kane, albeit with 40k.

Unfortunately Al Soma - actually a great card, just doesn't have decent links for a hybrid. Real shame.

Problem is ... pack luck has been horrendous these past few weeks. Can only think that EA have done the rope-a-dope on us ... decent returns from the various packs across it all. Heck - I made money out of Smolov - 2 IF's (albeit discards) in one pack! The Suarez one was where it all turned. So, I'm not convinced the effort to go for the PL one, will be worth it.

My rewards were pretty lame after my optimism too.  Best pull turned out to be Gamboa the celtic rb, sold for 4K bin as Costa Rica feature in mm.

Got some games in, lost the first and had no major complaints.  Gone on to reach 4-2 so I'm pretty happy with that.  Switching between my serie a team and the la liga side, both pretty strong now so no qualms using either, I prefer the serie A side currently but just because it's got newer ifs in it.  Starting to get something out of icardi too so he'll be kept on a bit longer.  Plugged the void left from selling SIF Gomez up front with bacca for now, he's got himself a few goals already.  I'm anticipating the 87 will take his spot once the price comes down but that will no doubt be after the weekend league.

Checking on requirements for midweek ...

Interesting one first qualification tournament - max 1 (11 and subs) from all the big 5 leagues! Good one!

But then I'm scrolling across to see if there is anything else ... Weekend League 2 weeks out ... "Training Items on Players - Max 3 in your starting 11 and subs". I am speechless ...
