Now quit 8 games.

Honestly, cannot understand it. I read on the dark side that others are complaining about the game play. I'm just stunned that I cannot string passes together, losing against ... idiots ...

I see a qualification tournament in my future ...

Had my standard loss in the first match. The goal I conceded, the referee body checks my player that was going to intercept the ball out the way, and the weak pea roller shot goes straight through Lloris as he tries some weird slide to save a shot straight at him. The opponent then started passing around the back, shielding in the corner and being an idiot. After 20 minutes! Did manage a few chances, but of course his keeper was unbeatable.
Following game was a standard Martial, Musa, Mane type thing. After getting steamrolled and taken out once too often with the ref not even calling a foul, I lost it and sliced him in half and got a red. Was in danger of going on tilt massively, but it must have focused me and i scored before i could even bring on a sub and didn't even allow him a shot on goal the rest of the game.

From there started playing good stuff and beat two very good players, the final game being won by a Dele Alli screamer in the 117th minute to win 4-3 and end up on 4-1. Was too tired after that but a decent enough start. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll find enough time to get to 18 wins this weekend though. Should probably have attempted more games whilst the servers seemed ok, but playing these weekend league games tired is not a good idea!

... and now the awesome record is 2-10. Could. Not. Be. Arsed.

Sitting on the loo, I was wondering why & I think I've got it.

Firstly, the last game - guy scores from a driven A across the goal - 20th-odd minute. He gets a corner - 37th min - passes short, and stands on the ball. Waits. And so the time-wasting starts ...

So, my thoughts are this ... Yes, we now have more people in the WL ... aka noobish twats. My revelation is that we are now subjected to ANOTHER LAYER of try-hards. Therefore, nothing new - just more of them.

Good job mate - heaps better than me.

Ref - yeah, they've got to "ghost him". Stupid that he impacts the game.

HOLY CR@P!!! F*&Kin' idiotic ref gifts a goal to ANOTHER idiot.

Just wow.

Finally finished off the SBC Lacazette and went back to the game on 2nd a/c. Another quit after that bull$hit.

Can it really be the patch that's influenced such poor game play ?!?!

Bad times gents.

Just started my campaign and am 1-1. First game was a stroll, 2nd game nothing goes my way. Passing shocking, shooting shocking & the ref might as well of had the oppositions kit on.

With the kid only aiming for Elite Monthly and nothing on the weekly side of things, it's meant the aim is 18 wins.

So, I started playing on that a/c - pretty much using the 2x 3412 teams that I used in the unrestricted qualification. Still not the best of games, but 2 victories (one needing to go into ET) before the kid took the controller for a game - resulted in another win.

Had to go back to the other a/c to check on the record - 3-10. :o. Don't care.

As you said before, the refs should be ghosted. How I managed to redeem things after the ref took out my covering player to make me lose my first game yesterday I don't really know. So many stupid things go on. The final game I played yesterday, I conceded a crazy goal in, naturally, the 90th minute, to make it go to extra time. My CB had the ball, I pressed pass and literally nothing happened. Of course Coutinho running at full speed tackles whilst controlling the ball perfectly to get clean through!
When I went 3-2 down to another goalkeeping mishap in the second half of extra time, followed by a dab, and the shot count something like 16-4 in my favour, I was just close to switching off.
Luckily though SBC Higuain found a bit of space and smashed it into the corner of the goal, and a half cleared ball found its way to PotM Dele Alli who smashed it first time and in off the angle of post and bar. The BS was there but with the servers actually not laggy or delayed for me last night, I was just about able to win still.
The difference in FUT champs is too often who has the better connection with the server. In theory, everyone should be of a standard of being able to attack and defend well, and know exactly what they're doing at both ends of the field. With such close margins, and the type of players and playstyles being used, any lag or delay is going to the difference so often. I know what I'm trying to say buy it's not coming out too great!

All I can say boys is keep at it, I've come off some terrible form and turned it around both last weekend and this one.  After I commented I was happy with my 4-2 start I lost the next 7 games wtf  ??? So I'll never be praising my form again during WL.  Thought last week was repeating itself but have pulled the form back to 10 wins from 20, so just hope to avoid any terrible patches of form now, easier said than done though.

I think apart from ea bullshit I still find the frequent pausers to be one of most annoying things.   Had a guy who paused twice separately in first 13 mins, used all three by half time, its ridiculous everyone is a tinkerman these days.  I think they should patch it tbh.

2-8  :D totally laughable game play

Think I've tried everything, even the kitchen sink. Going to go with the 87 Casemiro as Bergkamp, Effenberg, SBC Isco, Del Piero, Petit, Keane, Pogba, TOTY Modric and many others have made no difference. Might give Veron a go just for good measure  ::)
