Got nine games in on the weekend league last night. It was really smooth gameplay, not what I was expecting given that the menus where lagging so badly as the market went completely crazy!
Results were WWLWLLLWW, so ended up 5-4. Two 90th minute loses to ridiculous goals and a penalty loss. Also a spell where my De Gea let in all five shots he faced over his first two games, a 4-2 win and a 1-3 loss. Gotta love it when you pummel their goal and the keeper plays insane whilst yours is incapable of stopping anything. Also, the penalty loss, the opponent keeper make the craziest save I've ever seen in the 120th minute.
5-4 overall but should have been at least 7-2.

Swear that every team I have played this afternoon, apart from being god squads, are all playing park the bus counter attack. I just can't stomach that 'style' of play and refuse to join the bandwagon as much as it might get me more wins. All losses as well have felt inevitable and nothing I'm trying is working

As far as matchmaking goes, not sure on the spin of how it works but might have something to do with skill rating. If that's the case, my skill rating must have been shocking , but why was it until I only got down to 11 games to go where I thought I might actually have a chance of winning a game?? Only then did I feel it was being 'fair' on who I was matched up against

And another thing. Seems to be all the rage to put strikers in at cm?? Can see why based on their card stats, but surely the underlying stats should make them less effective. Just another layer of sweat

Yep that's it kiwi.  Such a blatantly pointless team of knockout stages resulting in additional versions as you've mentioned of cards that already had numerous IFs really only serving to screw people of their hard earned coins imo.  I feel like I've lost half my coin balance just like that.   Being stubborn as I am there's no way I'd attempt to repair the damage by buying packs especially when my reward packs show me just how crap they can be.

My desire to play has just gone now.  Not played a match yet this weekend and no intention to either.  Time to get stuck into the witcher I picked up last weekend during the sale.

I don't even want to consider checking the effect of the price drops.

Games. Wow, just wow. The absolute cr@p that you concede - that's what really gets me. Honestly, the amount of goals that I gifted vs my opposition - negligible. Tehse damn driven A's across the goal, freakin' De Gea touches it straight into the forward - who's all alone 3 yds from goal. I'm just pi$$ed off at the moment.

Another game, he shoots from 20yds (Son of course!) and it hits the post, my CB jumps over the diving De Gea & allowing Lukaku to tap it in. I just don't get goals like that ... or very, very rarely.
