Ended up 21-16. Got to twenty wins and then lost two in the 120th minute and 90th minute through the dodgy bounces possible. Nothing could be any more contrived to allow someone to win...... (or could it!)

So to the game that got me to 21 wins. I played some guy who just countered and countered all game. He scored a dodgy equaliser where two tackles bounced back to him. Dabbed.
A 45th minute second equaliser that magically deflected into the goal. Dabbed.
A 105th minute third equaliser from a penalty where my SIF Milner gave away a penalty purely from the AI. Ball was rolling to my keeper and he slid the chasing player from behind. I wasn't even controlling him! Dabbed.

Thoroughly expected an 120th minute winner and to get dabbed. Things didn't quite go as expected as I got this beauty to give SBC Lacazette his 4th of the game. I won't even attempt to describe the quality of it, without doubt the best goal I've scored on Fifa 17 and not at all down to any BS at work. It doesn't exist obviously. All in our heads.

Made sure he got a bit of dab action back!!!!!

Seriously though! WTF?

ha ha. Nice one. its good when justice falls on the right side of the fence for a change

Those types of goals IRL, you see once a season, where a total howler leads to a goal (take yesterdays Aston villa equalizer as an example), but they are almost on a game by game basis in fut. I know the devs want a realistic as possible experience but if this is coded into the game to cause 'headlines' like real life, they have it turned up waaaay too much to level 10. My theory is that of the 2 players, if you have the worse end of the connection this type of behaviour kicks in to assist that player, weather it be the mud pitch, bs bounces and rebounds, inability to do the basics (like players being out of form) and the 'once a season' blundergoals

Oh man, didn't realise that you got weekend league qualification from just staying in Div 2.

Thought it was promotion to Div 1 or holding Div 1  :-\

Huh!?!?

That's changed.

Was very surprised when started the game (an hour or so before WL finished) and the commentators were all 'well here it is, the last game shoot out for weekend league qualification'. Comfortably won 3-0 and got the whole 'they've done it. Joining the elite clubs in the weekend league......' blah, blah.
The fact that I was still in the weekend league period and already qualified meant that I qualified for that weekend league so didn't get it carrying over into this weeks. Handy to know when the tournament route fails

Yeah - good idea. Now, I wonder if promotion from Div 3 gets you in? Need to play on a/c 2 - not sure where I am on that (think D2/3). Will let you know if I am in D3 and can get promoted.

Had 2 wins in D2. Won the title (7-1-1) to qualify due to last week's lack of playing on this a/c.

But ... with the kid not feeling the best, he's actually decided to take the majority of the month off. Another saturated WL soul. Maybe once TOTS is fully out, it may get him interested again. Maybe not.

Won the daily tournament playing against some horrible Musa pace teams.
Going to use the tournament that starts tomorrow to test out a couple of teams that could well be the teams that go for the TOTS player next week and the Weekend League afterwards. Have a few permatations and different players that I can use in each team so will try and figure out what works and what doesn't.

Got easily my worst rewards ever. Absolutely nothing of note at all. Can't complain though, have had a walkout and IF pretty much the past five weeks so was well overdue this.
MM's was bad as well. Wes Hoolahan.

Used my two probable 8 gold, 3 silvers teams for next week and weekend in the daily knockout the past two days. Was extremely unlucky to lose in the semi final yesterday, but stolled it today with 4-1, 4-0, 3-0 rq and 2-1 wins. Really enjoyed them. Still have a bit of room to change a few players around if I need to in them as well.

You should start a thread like you're old one's posting your teams would be interested to see the teams and how you get on, better than looking at carbon copies i see in WL

My untradable Kroos let's rip earlier in the DKT:

And in the next round, It's Milner's turn. Was one of those nights when you can do no wrong I guess!

EDIT - The Doumbia celebrating in the first video is the Ligue 1 silver, not "the other one"

My teams aren't anywhere near as interesting as they have been the past couple of year unfortunately! Have been trying to use different players in the DKT's most weeks, but weekend league I do tend to use similar teams week by week, although 4231(2) is much nicer than the narrow sweat teams spearheaded by "the three M's" as I call then (Martial, Musa, Mane)!

I do still have some pride though and don't use more than one or two of the crazily OP players in one team. Still haven't touched Walker this FIFA and have barely used Bailly, but have over 300 games on Smalling and Kante (over two cards). Have stopped using Smalling now though. Much prefer SIF Keane and have packed IF Kompany and IF Cahill recently. And looks like the French Smalling (IF Jullien) is going to get some games during the 8 gold weekend.

For Fifa 18 though, I might do something similar to before and keep a track of each weekend league with results and teams I've used.
