Problem we all have though is that champs is the only game mode worth playing. Catch 22
They need to bring the regular cup competitions back, I've only had seasons and single games to play this year, although single games have been really enjoyable recently.

Went on a mad run tonight, got from 14-10 to 20-11, with loss an unplayable mess i quit, (and was 10-9 at the start of the day). Had meant to stop at Gold 3 but kept going until I lost. Of course I get 20 and think, yeah, I'll stop at 21. Four games later get the win after an endless stream of filth was thrown my way! 21-14 but my god it was painful this weekend!

Done. I give up. The game/community has finally beat me.

Goodbye.

Ditch FIFA (like I did a month or so ago) but don't leave us, we wouldn't even have this forum if it wasn't for you.  FIFA is too consuming, demands so much and gives little in return, not that it doesn't have its positives but so many negatives too.

Late session after the Xbox conference saw me get some of the best connections I've had this year. Seen a lot of people say that late Sunday is decent. You do see a lot of the pro's suddenly spring up top of the leaderboards come Monday morning.

Anyways, was 11-11. Progressed to 18-13 then went to bed. Comfortably the best weekend league record I've had. Strange in amongst all this uncertainty.

Once again left scratching my head, this time with a positive slant  :-\

Won't mate ... it's too much of a ritual to open this site every morning :D.

Totally agree with your comment, but I am beyond the looks of the game - which, is damn impressive. But, there are too many issues - basic things like navigation, fitness, injuries - that annoy the crap out of me ... prior to getting into a game, then being bettered by a 10yo that's clueless.

Anyway - that's a box I don't want to get on :D.

Won Nacho Fernandez first go. TOTS James Vaughan scoring the opening goal in the final, but he is one awful card!

I've been playing less FIFA recently, apart from the weekend league, but have been playing Sleeping Dogs that I downloaded from the PSN store for £3 or so a couple of months ago, and have started playing through the Uncharted collection. Played it once a year and a half ago but have started again and will play them in order. Have got about a third of the way through the first one.
I have £40 worth of vouchers from work that can be spent in Argos, so at some point I'm going to pick up Skyrim abd get lost in that, which was cut short for me on PS3 as I upgraded to PS4. Will also see what the other £14 can buy, hopefully something I can play with my little girl.

Well, just been royally bent over and shafted by the game tonight. Unbelievable lag, delay, you name it, I've had it

Total flip from yesterday when connection was perfect but met every try hard on the road to get Nacho

Some of the teams are stacked. No idea how they get them to 83.

10 more attempts from tomorrow with the normal squads. Roll on the weekend ..... or not 😕

And, guess what?

Game play flips again. Plays great, wins tourney at 1st attempt. The one thing this game is consistent at... being inconsistent

Roll on champs weekend

Tested out some more TOTS cards in the new tournament last night (am up to 136 TOTS in my club now!).
First game against a 5atb, I have 16 shots, he has 2, ends 2-2 and I lose on penalties. Second game, I score in the third minute and he quits. Third game, tight but early in the second half, BANG. Disconnected from the servers. Fourth game he puts the controller down at 3-0.
No fun at all switched off! Load of crap all night.

Played Sleeping Dogs instead.

Wow. Guys relax. It is just a game although I have to admit that my break from it was refreshing.

FUT absorbs you. There is no other game that brings the worst out of you.

Its a love hate relationship. I'll get FIFA simply because I love football, but it will strictly be a RTG approach from now on.

Decent night on fifa shocker!!!!!!!!

Put together a couple of team using a load of discard TOTS cards and a couple of other i've packed such as Cassilas and Mbodj.
Lost in the semi final first go but second go, 3-0, 4-0, and 2-0 wins took me to the final. In the 4-0 win, Iker Cassilas put in an amazing display, making some saves that i'd given up as certain goals. How I won by four I have no idea!

The final was against a hashtag guy. Thought I'd get destroyed but played well and took it to extra time. On 110 minutes I finally played in TOTS Mitroglou on goal with SBC Jonas and it was 1-0. Fifa being fifa I conceded the dodgiest goal ever on 120 minutes. Managed to win the shootout and a duplicate TOTS Nacho was mine!

Got someone to invite me to a game, backed out, which enabled me to put the duplicate into the 84 plus inform SBC....................

Walkout................

Red and green sort of flag............

Real Madrid badge flashed up..........

I didn't really know what on earth was happening, thought I had Ronaldo, but had to settle for second prize of 91 Bale. I'll take that! Three quarter of a million coins worth of player. First 92 Pogba and now this!

Makes up for my awful weekend league rewards and shocking Marquee Matchup packs!
