Wow ... seen some of those packs on there ... holy crap!

Pulled Bonatini ... great! Wanted to use him and another untradeable in an SBC ... accidentally did an untradeable one with 2 TOTS cards ... D'OH.

But, did get a walkout ... Brazilian ... Casemiro. Would've appreciated the 400k+ rather than him, but hey ho ... is what it is.

From the 125k pack, I got TOTS Hutchinson. The next highest rated player was Monreal!
Put Hutchinson and my untradable silver TOTS Angel into the SBC and came out with some one pointless. I opened it last night and honestly can't remember who it was now!

Have added TOTS Vertongen in place of IF Kompany in my Premier League side. Have 3.3m still to spend. I'd guess that the time to buy is between now and rewards tomorrow evening, so will probably buy a load of high rated player very soon......

Just need 6 wins this weekend for Gold 2 monthly. Might just get though wins and be done with weekend league for Fifa 17. Will stick with the daily tournaments and seasons. Have had two games to get one win to reach Division 1 for ages. Played this morning as I won't need to free pass to weekend league. Got the win with a 1-0 win. James Milner scoring a great goal from LB. No lag at all, so hopefully this will continue for Division 1.

Been flying under the radar lately due to my tablet going the way of the dodo.

Mixed couple of weeks.  Champs has been steady and will nail gold 2 monthly.  slim chance of gold 1.  Done several of the tots packs with mixed results.  None of the top blokes and the club has taken a hammering.  Still have 4 main teams though, but literally no coins :(

Tempted to sell up, to a certain point but resisted so far.

The 125k pack was abysmal.  88 rated brazil CB from Portuguese league  >:( and one 83 rated player.  the rest all sub 81  :o

See that the rewards for champs next week are roll back packs from October !!! WTF use is that????  They will need something waaaay better than that to hold peoples interest until 18 arrives

Later peeps

Splashed over 3 million on Thursday morning strengthening my Premier League and Bundesliga sides, and creating a La Liga side out if the bones of it I already had. New TOTS cards all over the place plus, for the first time since Fifa 12, Ronaldo and Messi both in the club at the same time.
Headed into Division 1 for the first time. It was basically weekend league. Got a few dodgy defeats from random rebounds, won a few deservedly, and a couple of draws, one late on and one a 0-0 where the opponent wasn't interested in football. A chance of staying up at least.

Played two games in the weekend league this morning. Lost the first 5-4 in which the opponent had five shots all game. I had ten. Standard stuff. Second game was a 6-1 massacre. A hat trick for Lewandowski and a couple of goals and assists for Stindl to leave me 1-1 with a massive 38 games remaining....

10-8.  Usual rinse and repeat, win one, lose one, with connections being the major factor in the L's

Some real stick in the throat losses.

See Futties are next week.  Strange they have more content planned for that than TOTS.  That's the old EA consistency for ya

Went to 1-3 at one point after a couple of dodgy losses last night. Then reeled off three straight wins to finish at 4-3.
Played two this afternoon. Both were pretty awful games due to the opponents awful, practically identical standard robotic playstyles. Managed to grind out two wins to put me to 6-3.
This gives me monthly Gold 2, and with nothing worth while in packs and not needing any coins, that could well be it. 22 wins would give Gold 1, but not sure I can be bothered to go for the extra 16 wins needed. Grinding out wins against packed defences with three attackers, more often than not, with 99 stats in everything running on to lobs and one-two pass through ball all game is not worth the effort.

Alternating with the kid. Sitting around 17-11 after last night.

Warmed up with a 4-0 thumping in Division. Must be good, right? Nope ... 3 games - lost them all. Such freakin' bullsh!t. Worst was the first game - Ibarbo up top. 3rd minute and the first 40 yard driven through ball splits the defence for a goal. Such a useless tw@t abusing, and I can't do a freakin' thing. Lose 0-4.

Why am I not surprised.

DO NOT PLAY WEEKEND LEAGUE ON SUNDAYS!!!

When will I learn!?!?

I know the feeling kiwi.  Same over the pond here in the UK. Sat afternoons and Sunday during the day are big no, no's.....

but I did it anyway just to get the games out of the way.

Was 10-8.  Thinking this would be comfortable getting 8 wins from 22.  Oh no. Quickly became 10-10, then progressed to lose the next 5 with shocking connections combined with having to stream to my laptop as couldn't get the TV on Saturday (during the day!!).

So 10-15, leaving 15 to get 8.  Got to 15-17.  8 to get 3... easy... right??  Had the TV Sunday morning.  Won the first, then lost the next 2  :o panic stations

Won 1, lost 1. 3 games to go.... Won the next 2 for 19 wins.  Finished on 19-21

What a slog that was and much harder than it should have been.  Gold 2 monthly - 4 red 81's on the way  :P

I'm going to play this coming weekend then maybe that's it.  Only interest now is to grab the Gerrard SBC

Well done Simmo - good one.

Finished on 17 wins - never played again ... only reason is that we had 82 wins for the month so Gold 3 was in and I had won D2 on Sunday morning - playing my warm up games so qualified for next weekend anyway.

BTW ... I always play that first game on Seasons ... it's ridiculously easy in comparison to the try hards in WL. I guess I'm not surprised (or shouldn't be).

When I play this weekend, I might just try get as many games done on the Fri & Sat night. Then, play the last few hours on Mon night - try that rather.

On another note ... dropped the kid off at the airport this afternoon. He's on his way to Qatar (Doha) for the FIWC tournament - 16+ hour flight ... :o. He is in Business Class (I should keep quiet on this one :P) ... managed to get them to 'accommodate him' at least. As much as I've spent ($) over the many years on FIFA, the flight for this trip of his, has been recouped! Lucky damn kid!

Went into the daily tournament last night with two teams that were 90 rated. Two crazily OP teams! The 3m coins I spent last week coming into play, together with a few players I've had for ages such as my red IF Perotti, SBC Higuaín and SIF Gomez in one, red Pogba, PotM Alli sporting into the other. Also had Ronaldo in one and Messi in the other, the first use of either outside of draft this year, and the first time I've owned Ronaldo since FUT 12.

First run 4-0, 3-0 and a 1-1 (4-5 penalties loss). Should have won the semi but the game decided to turn around and pass in the totally opposite direction and put my opponent clean through! He was a decent player so wasn't too disheartened. Ronaldo scored an absurd free kick as well.

Second run was easy. 4-0, 2-0, 2-0 and 2-0 wins. In the final I even managed to go down to ten men after 15 minutes, but he still only had one shot all game! Ronaldo scored another crazy free kick in there as well somewhere. The star of the show was Higuain though. In the three games his team played, he scored 8 goals! Normally struggle like hell with him but not this time.

The game felt stupidly easy. It was playing well, and in all the games didn't feel like I was going to concede. (apart from one moment of BS!)

If I do play in the weekend league, I can bet it'll still be the same grind though!
