Done 10 games in 17 and on 7-3.  Best start ever this fut.  Really should be 9-1 but couple of 'issues' prevented that.

5 games on 18 and 2-3.  All that must be said is that some people do not have a life.  Some of the teams already are nigh on god level compared to my base BPL and Bundes/MLS hybrid teams.  Hard work but rewarding when you beat one

Rushed through games pretty much Fri & Sat. Ended up with 19 wins (kid got the last one - only game he's played as he really is over it) with 6 left.

Tried this morning but Sun try-hards are out.

Sound like a stuck record but the amount of games I quit is quite farcical. Of those 16 losses I may have finish 5 or 6 games - a number of them well before 20 min (a few still at 0-0 even). I guess that's why I was able to get through so many.

It is a chore at this point. Same old, same old ... just a lot of blue and even more pink - Musa, Sane up front & Smalling, Butland at the back. No freakin' creativity these days - maybe 1 in 15 games isn't PL. Pathetic.

The variety of teams has got even worse. A lot of people seem to have made new accounts and started again, as per a couple of YouTubers. And guess what team they ALL make? Butland, Shaw, Bailly, Smalling, Walker, Kante, Dembele, Can, Martial, Musa, Mane.

I finished 22-18, but the amount of stupid games I lost to absolute nonsense! Having not played a full weekend league for five weeks or so meant I actually enjoyed it a bit more than usual and there weren't so many idiots about. Game play was also 90% decent apart from a few dodgy ones on Friday lunchtime.

Good stuff on the 22 wins, got 21 this side after finishing off the games y'day. Lost the first 4 - more like quit them and stopped playing for half the day. Got the last 2 wins after 8PM.

Thanks! I even played some division 1 yesterday afternoon as well! Actually enjoyed the game this weekend for once and didn't get tilted by it once, even when it played up.
A few high scoring games in Div 1, the best being one where I was 4-0 down with 70 minutes gone, but was disappointed not win as his keeper made two crazy saves in injury time to keep it at 4-4! What went on in those last twenty minutes was absurd! The opponent was panicking like mad, and the game was doing some very questionable things in my favour.......

Won the DKT last night. The SF was one of the best games I've played in FIFA, for a very, very long time. 90% pass acc from both sides at HT - 87/88% at FT. He had a pretty cool 3412 hybrid, arguably better than mine ;D. 3-2 final score in my favour & felt good to actually send a GG message. No response - I'll assume that he's turned his notifications off :D.

Player = Ibarbo. Awesome. Goes well with the freebie Agbonlahor I got last week. SMH! ::)

Maybe my break of barely playing for a couple of weeks was what was needed. Been enjoying playing a but more recently, including the weekend league last weekend!
Had a go at the daily tournament quite late on on Tuesday night as I've been playing Until Dawn for the past few days. Not bad for a PS+ freebie! Made a couple of random teams and after a tough 1st round, strolled to the final with two more easier wins. Went to play the final and EA had disabled match making in preparation for a three hour scheduled maintenance! Nice of them to warn that it was coming. No FUT birthday player for me then.

Last night, decided to go back to my crazy team days! Picked two lots of three random goal players using the FUThead randomiser and put them into two 100 chem, all players on 9 or higher teams.
The first team contained a Spanish 2nd division 47 pace 75 rated CB, Toni Kroos and Ilicic, the Slovinian CF with mad long shots in Serie A. I may have cheated a little and used my TOTY Kroos and picked up IF Ilicic for false 9.
The second team though I wasn't so lucky and had to use Markovic, Locadia and Lemoine. All 76 rated! Put them into a 4231(2) and went into the cup. Reached the semi final but lost 4-3 to a full red team from a 90th minute goal during which my CB I wasn't controlling just decided to turn and run off out of the box for no reason and leave a player unmarked.

The second run saw two 5-0 wins and I'm in the semi final again........

My gold 2 rewards were predictably awful! Got absolutely nothing of any note at all. Was hoping for maybe an Eriksson, Rooney or Neymar from the TOTW but that was never going to happen.......
Went on to the Marquee Matchups which were very easy again. It has been kind of annoying that they seem to be giving the constantly awful Rare Gold Packs for each match recently. I've opened a lot of them from rewards and MM's and they never give anything.......
Suddenly when opening one of the rare gold packs, there was a huge pause. Expected some like Fabregas, an IF flare....... Danish flag and out walked 89 Eriksson! WTF?! I'll take it though! Managed to pack a duplicate IF Cahill as the 84+ IF.

Played the rest of the cup with my very random teams that I made yesterday. Also a rule was that I had to use players in my club to fill in the gaps around the 3 random players which made for some very strange looking teams. After two 5-0 wins in the first two games, I went into the semi final against some standard Premier League stacked team. The usual suspects, of course Son, Smalling and Walker and co, special cards all round and many of them red. Expected to get destroyed with my 4231(2) with a front four of Elia, Toornstra, Locadia and Markovic, with Lemoine and Huddlestone behind!
What followed was the most one sided 40 minutes of Fifa ever! I destroyed him! Somehow I only managed one goal on 22 minutes, but after a complete battering he just quit. I'd forgotten how easily that happens when winning while using a ridiculous team!
The final was crazy. Played a 352 La Liga side, again with mostly special cards all round. Again, the game only lasted around 40 minutes, and again I played some good stuff, but this time had piled up 4 goals. The first two great finishes with Ronaldo, who the opponent was obviously **** scared of by the way he played when I got the ball to him. Two more outstanding strikes followed from TOTY Kroos and IF Badelli and that was that. No goals conceded in the four games, and 15 scored in the equivalent of less than three games in match time. If only this sort of form (and decent game play and connection) could have occurred more regularly during Fifa 17.

If I play the weekend league, tempted to take in random teams to see what happens, although the 75 rated, 47 pace Spanish CB would probably get destroyed!

LOL ... love the teams!

And congrats on Eriksen too - good to be rewarded like that.

Gold 2 rewards this side had an IF - discard GK. Rest was crap. I guess the 45k is the main reward for now - get some more players for generations.

Won't be playing a full weekend league this time around so just put together a couple of very highly rated teams from players in my club (91 and 92 rated!), but in the 433(5) formation. This was my favourite formation for the past couple of years, but struggled with it at the start this year, so stopped using it and found success with 4231(2). Recently have used the false 9 in the tournaments and Division 1 and had much better results so time to try it weekend league!

Only have played three games so far. The first game was a good tight match. It could have gone either way, but the opponent scored when three tackles rebounded straight to him and the resulting save by my goalkeeper fell kindly. His keeper then pulled off some blinding saves and I lost 1-0. A couple of months back this would have tilted me, but I just laughed it off and carried on.
The next game was insane. I completely destroyed the opponent, winning 6-0, but it could have been twice that! He had red and TOTS reward cards, so couldn't have been that bad. Was totally ripping the guy apart with my 92 rated team. Goals were from SBC Suarez 2, SBC Lahm, IF Bale and Ronaldo 2.
The third game was back to my Premier League false 9 that lost the first game, but this time it faired a lot better. Managed to get two with my red 92 Pogba in a one sided first half. That was enough for the opponent.
Ended up 2-1 from my three games. Not sure how many more I'll play. Not much time today and not sure if I'll have much time tomorrow. Have worked out that the new internet I have works great during the day until about 6 and then is dodgy until about 10 at night and then plays well again.

Got to 15 wins. Think there were still some 7/8 games remaining. Managed to play the last 45 min this evening - got through 2 LABORIOUS games. The first one the guy literally used up EVERY SINGLE additional second he could. I was trying to storm through the games, and if I wasn't 3-0 ahead, I would have quit. Genuinely think there are some seriously delinquent morons who have no freakin' respect for other people. Why am I surprised ... hey!?!

Won the DKT quite simply enough, only the final going to full time - that was a comfortable 4-2 win (never less than 2 goals down).

I only played the three games on Friday afternoon. Did load up on Saturday evening but the opponent had two green kits to choose from, and when I got to the screen after that shows the stadium and it was Stoke, just backed out and switched off. Not giving myself a brain haemorrhage trying to look at that for 15 minutes because of some idiot!

Will probably play the knock out tournaments this week using the same tactic as last week. Three random gold players off the futhead randomiser and build an 100 Chen team around them.

You know ... that's a good point. We all love the realism with this game, but when it comes to the competitive online stuff, why don't they just default it to one stadium for all - same with the ball. Simple.

It's only the 5/10% that want to gain some (daft) advantage through irritation, all because they crap at the game.

I believe that you always see your own ball when playing no matter what. If the opponent wants to use a black ball in the San Siro, it no longer matters because only they have the black ball. The stadiums with crazy shadows and that horrendous Stoke pattern which gives me a headache so haven't played against it in months as I've trained myself to check the stadiums before starting, are just stupid. Absolutely no need for it.

So yesterday evening I built myself two new teams for the tournament. The three players I had to use for the first team were Edin Dzeko, Kevin Gameiro and Carlos Kameni. Already had TOTT Dzeko in my club so he went in at striker with the SIF Gameiro at CF and IF Kameni in goal. Ended up building a 4411. Had my red El Shaawary at LM, the orange Thomas from Atletico Madrid and TOTS N'Zonzi in centre midfield, Biabiany at RM. The defence was Mario Rui LB, Pepe and Varane CB's with Sagna at RB, and Kameni behind them.

The players for team number two were, Shinzo Koroki from Urawa Reds, Eric Bautheac from Lille and Rodrigo from Valencia. Luckily I already had IF Koroki in my club and the other two cost less than 1k combined.
Ended up making a 433(4) team. Bautheac at LW, Rodrigo at RW and Koroki at striker. Another bit of luck was that I also had the silver IF Yosuke Kashiwagi in my club to give a perfect link to Koroki at CAM, meaning they were sorted for Chen and the rest was pretty easy. My red Pogba at LCM, SBC Kurzawa at LB, and Smalling at LCB. Down the right, I had TOTY Kroos at RCM, IF Montoya at RB, TOTS Nacho at RCB and De Gea in goal linking the two sides.

Was a bit worried that I'd get taken apart in defence with no CDM's in either team, but in the end it went very well! First run I got to the semi final after two easy wins. Ended up conceding the dodgiest 120th minute rebound goal to draw 4-4, and lost about 8-7 on penalties, blowing it after my keeper did the twisty arm thing when I had to save to win! So annoying!

Second run was better though. Three 3-0 rage quits after absolutely destroying the opponents, including two full TOTS super teams, got me to the final. Came up against a very strong Bundesliga team and was soon 1-0 down to an SBC Aubameyang penalty after I totally messed up and pressed the slide button instead of the triangle to bring the keeper out! Luckily I got back into it with Gameiro and after 90 minutes (when else?), I received a gift penalty from the AI, which Gameiro put into the corner and that was that.

Of the featured players, Dzeko scored two and assisted 1 in his four games, and Gameiro, who I don't think I've ever used on Fifa, scored five and assisted three in his four games. Kameni did ok in goal and wasn't as bad as I expected. He actually made some decent saves!
In the other team, Koroki was pretty decent, scoring some good goals with 5 goals in his three games and also 3 assists. Rodrigo scored once and assisted twice in four games (with a sub appearance in the other team) and Bautheac managed two assists in his three games.
