Just played the UFC demo on the PS4.   Not hugely impressed tbh, gameplay could be ok but graphics again not upto much.  Seen better graphics on the Fight Night games on the 360, and better gameplay now i think of it.   Has actually put me off buying it.

Damn Eric! Surely the likes of 'Infamous' will change your mind. The kid raved about the footage he's seen - 'gorgeous visuals' to quote IGN.

@Sherlock ... Not played Dragon Age on iOS, but did read up on the new iOS 8 that is being released (kid mentioned this to me too). Apparently the level of graphics coming to mobile is going to change drastically. Basically the general view is "this is the future of gaming".

Battery life is the one aspect that obviously needs serious addressing!

Finally got myself Playstation Plus. Been playing a lot of GTA5 the past few nights and getting Plus opens up my Burnout Paradise that I got for free after the PSN debacle a few years back, and Streets of Rage! Remember that?
NBA2k14 is free this week. That could be interesting. I know absolutely nothing about basketball, but doesn't it have a pack only UT mode? Could be time for some research for if FUT15 goes that way.

No coincidence that I've got this at a time when I can't play more than 2 or 3 games at a time of Fifa without wishing I wasn't.

Load up Burnout Paradise, straight away find one of the 4 out of 400 smash gates that we were unable to find three years ago (my girlfriend used to play it more than me!). Then I attempt to go online, thinking the server will probably have been long since taken down for a 5 year old game. A full lobby! That says it all about what a class racing same it is.

Far Cry 4 is one I'm really looking forward to. Far Cry 3 was so good but the improvements seem pretty logical and hopefully they won't have those 2 or 3 annoying as hell missions that I absolutely hated like the ink monster thing.

Have FC3 here on the shelf.  People keep telling me how good it is.  I struggled to get into it.

Might give it another go.

loved it....but indeed you need to spend at least a couple of hours before the game really gets on to you. Great story, lot's of stuff to do. Enjoyed my time on that mad island  ;D

Definitely worth a go. It took me a while to get into too but once it all clicks and you get the hang of it and the controls, it's a superb game. Only negative is that there are a couple of really stupid and irritating missions but only a very minor minus.

loved it....but indeed you need to spend at least a couple of hours before the game really gets on to you. Great story, lot's of stuff to do. Enjoyed my time on that mad island  ;D

Has anyone had a look at whats being unveiled at E3?  this game No Mans Sky seems to be getting some really positive press.   It does sound to me like the sort of game i certainly would have loved in the past.
