Not bought many the past couple of weeks, but this week there are a number of players that interest me. Waiting to see what prices are like first before I identify definate targets. Could well be an expensive week though!

Once again, I must say, I am disappointed. There are indeed some decent cards in this TOTW - on face value.

When you start working through the actually upgrades, some are (again) laughable ... at first. Then, pi$$es me off that the IG stats will be watered down in certain areas. They simply don't reward consistently, or appropriate to a performance.

Kamara - jumps a whopping 4 ratings (on a purple card), but his shooting goes up 4 ::). Pretty sure the IG stats won't even go up 4 in each one, so you have to wonder what idiots are behind these changes/updates.
Lacazette - great, that 2 shooting will make such a difference on an already massive OP card. Next.
Alcacer - was keen on him, but the best upgrade was his passing & physical. Shooting went up 3, whilst Moukandjo (same 2 goals, 1 assist performance) went up 5.

These first IF's are honestly, atrocious! Look at NordKvelle - scores a hat trick from CM. Yes, his shooting went up 7 but why not more? I'm not being greedy - it makes sense that the card should be worthy of the performance. What's the likelihood that he's going to get another hat trick? Even if he scores 2 & his IF-worthy, then upgrade that card with less stats.

It's almost as if EA was this 'hip' company during the '12 season, being 'out there' with some IF's ... shocking everyone with great upgrades. Now, they're in a 'corporate' mode where everything is calculated out in neat & tiny squares. Have to account for every small detail now that we're making millions and can't give too much away.

The only card that interests me, is SIF Neymar - due to it being a SIF & the '15 SIF card was pretty darn good.

Rant over ... need to do some work ... ::)

Understandable rant Kiwi. I just shipped out IF Nolito because he was quite simply not worth 35k. It's a good card with some fine stats but 33.1k's worth of upgrades....? Pfffffffffffffft.
So I buy Konoplyanka to replace him for 17.5k.... Then see he had an IF out 2 hours ago :D

Some nice IFs here tho. Only remembered to look because I was looking at BBVA mids on FUThead and clocked IF Parejo. Possible I'll look at getting him next week if my coin balance recovers, he already had 91 short passing, now he has a monumental +1 on pace that makes him almost rapid compared to say, a 59 pace player...

An irritating sequence of events on the Nolito sale actually. I put up several players 1st thing this morning, priced just over lowest BIN on FUTBIN, for 6 hours....! WHY 6 HOURS?
I seriously don't know. Morning brainblock.
So Nolito (the key sale) turned out to be overpriced and didn't sell, by the time I could correct that, TOTW price slump was beginning to bite. Finally sold him for a very reasonable 36.5k an hour ago (15k profit). Unfortunately, way too late to pick up a nice easy 46k Lahm. Still trying to get him and the buggers up to 49k at least now.
Small change really but cursing myself, difference of timings cost me 5-7k today, I'll only have 3k left after I get Lahm...

Neymar will be mine, oh yes.  The IF is sensational, so hoping for good things

I can remember that Steve Simonsen got an IF on FUT 11 that boosted him up by some crazy amount, at least plus 10,  to only one rating behind Joe Hart and the second highest rated Engl.ish keeper! Also bought IF DJ Campbell for 750 coins that year.

Been waiting to buy someone and stumbled across an IF Neymar for (what is now) 70k cheaper - picked him up for 730k.

Holy cr@p! Scored 4 in his first game - 3 on his left - playing next to Tevez. Btw, Tevez is still the go-to striker (might need to change that to 'was') with his 143 goals in 135 games (and 37 assists). To dominate Tevez like he did it that game, was a little insane.

So ... agreed Simmo - the card is sensational. Dribbling is pure class - finishing is sublime. Can he get better that this card?

Yeah Kiwi. Loved him.

Once the SIF was confirmed I had to get the Upgrade.  Sold him for 750k

Whilst waiting for his SIF price to come down, stuck Bebe in alongside Big Ron & SIF Ibra.  Surprisingly good.  Saw Kluivert and gave him a 5 game run, but wasn't really impressed.  Much like Bergkamp the card didn't live up to expectations.

picked up SIF Neymar last night and had 2 games, but I got the games where everything feels sluggish.  Nothing in the first game, but scored in the 2nd.  Will give him a better run out tonight

This week I picked up a few for their lowest prices. Marshall, Maroh, Layun, Nordkvelle and Kamara. A couple more I'll probably pick up at some stage.
