Hardly been playing recently, not so much a falling out of love with it as a re-falling in love with GTA race creation. Had a session last night tho. Gameplay was very strange, not sluggish at all but somehow wafty, like the AI assistant was watching something else out of the corner of his eye. 3 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats. One of the defeats an utterly futile rout where I might as well have not bothered pressing a button. Both draws against the run of play, feeling like the game would not accept any other result, regardless of my goal scoring. One of the wins a shoe on the other foot type deal where Neuer's gloves had an extra, invisible 6ft radius.

Reason we're in this thread is because I scored this beautiful team goal, 9 players involved in the move from corner defence to game clinching goal.

And this here, my 2nd draw. I do recognise, watching it back, that I was overplaying in and around his box but I still felt I was hard done by. I get numerous great chances to score but he gets such a huge array of last ditch tackles and blocks. Then, at the other end, I can't get near him at key moments, I do get a load of interceptions but if he has the ball at his feet, it was really, really difficult to move my players where I needed them. That and the various dodgy touches I have pretty much sum up the whole session.

Both videos do show what a joy it is to play with that team and that formation. With all 5 mids and both full backs having great ball control and short passing, the quick 1 and 2 touch combinations to break down the opposition midfield unfold so nicely. And in the 2nd vid, there's Jackson Martinez showing how much he both benefits from and complements all that ball movement.

Working through the videos that I've saved (or auto saved) ... so there they come!

Latest save was an awesome goal by Helton .. for me ;D.

Another FK from Dani Alves. You may notice the start of my celebration - was pretty pissed off as I had a couple of FK's before this one where he stood on the line & another (hit more powerful than this one!) was headed off the line. Needless to say I wanted him to know that I was happy this one went in.

If anything could describe FUT16, this match would be it. Crazily bad defending, ludicrous own goal, sweaty goals, referees on crack, goalkeepers with impossible reactions and a good old fashioned rage quit!

This was the first game last night. I kick off ... and this happens.

Ozil getting shoved over in the box, he gets it to is IF Gervinho (he had Felipe Anderson - IF Gervinho - Salah leading his 84-paced team), and the keeper decides to duck out the way of the ball. Great.

Oh ... love the switching too! Not that Huth is going to do much to catch up ...

Hey ... RvP can't run much anymore (well, UT at least), but at least he can shoot

Team failed. TOTS Promes was not so promising.

Now this was getting frustrating ... leading 2-1 at this stage, with 10-odd min to play. Bit of back & forth on this one, but have got the timestamp close as possible. I can semi-understand my (first) defender kick Aubamatwat's foot ... ok. I can also semi-forgive EA the crap of my defence out of sorts ... but the whole 'striker got 1mm on the ball before wiping out the CB' thing is just daft ...

Needless to say he scored in the 90th min to win ... Great.

Edit ... damn - the timestamp is not saving per the site - FF to 15 sec.

Another gripe on inconsistency ...
- Around 4 second mark - am ok with the shoulder on Depay - it is football.
- Around 13 sec mark ... Depay now running with the ball gets pinged for the foul. Huh?
