How do you find The Witcher 3? I have it but have only played it a tiny bit. I know a guy that says it is one of the best games ever. I found the controls a bit weird. Sometimes it feels a bit hard to precisely control the character, and he wanders a bit on his own. Definitely one I'm going to try and play properly through at some point though.

It's great, really appreciate the depth of story and amount of work that must have gone into it.  It's pretty much only game I've played since I took a prolonged and still ongoing break from Fifa.  Got it for 17 pound during easter sale and put many hours into it already.  No idea if I'm anywhere near the end, don't think I am yet.  It's the first rpg style game I've really got into since the original elder scrolls.  I'd definitely recommend it.

I got a 4K tv last xmas, love it, not even a top end one, just an LG that cost £500.  The picture quality is there though, you notice it massively on programs like planet earth and other hd content.  Also of course on Fifa, forza and currently Witcher 3.  So I'm happy with it already, but these new games just look like another level still, to get even more out of the 4K quality.   I'll probably sell the xb1 nearer time and that'll be a small sub to the outlay.

Not sure about Fifa 18, I know it looks good but I think the other games we mentioned are the best for really showcasing the new tech improvements.   Hadn't paid any attention to Scorpio talk prior to E3 but it didn't take me long at all to decide that I want one, especially if most of these games ready for launch.

Done. I give up. The game/community has finally beat me.

Goodbye.

Ditch FIFA (like I did a month or so ago) but don't leave us, we wouldn't even have this forum if it wasn't for you.  FIFA is too consuming, demands so much and gives little in return, not that it doesn't have its positives but so many negatives too.

Watching E3 tonight and think it looks stunning, some great looking games.  As usual I'm sure this may divide opinion but I for one am pretty hyped for this now.  Graphics are amazing - metro looks a must have, assassins creed too despite never really having being into that series.   The new lord of the rings one does too and the one that's on now Anthem looks to have potential as well.  Not even a mention of FIFA 18 either thankfully ☺️

The thing I noticed with both Anderlecht and Ajax games versus Utd is that Anderlecht and Ajax played prettier football, but Anderlecht were physically spent in the second half and et and Ajax were toothless and not strong enough to trouble United, so I know its a physically strong Mourinho team, but wonder if maybe that's the difference between the leagues, the level of fitness required, and both Ajax and Anderlecht couldn't match that despite their perhaps superior football.

Managed to force myself to try a comeback game last night.   Just in seasons div 2 and drawn against someone who had spent their saved coins on the TOTS players.   Got into a 2-0 lead not sure how really but the game was laggy and horrible that it was taking forever to finish the game.  My opponent downed controller just shy of ht, at which point I scored to go 3-1 up, that was that he didn't play, I didn't play, just let the game play out.   Boring and not exactly drawing me back in.  Maybe its just the seasons servers.  If its Serie A TOTS tonight I may spend my coins but I fear this instalment of the game is already dead to me.

. SAF did a tremendous job over the years, but he retired (IMO) knowing that his squad was not in the best of shape.

sorry Kiwi to pick on just one comment (didn't want to quote the lot) but I don't think it is fair to blame SAF now for the squad he left.  Onto the 3rd manager since, must've been 400m spent on players if not more.  Should be ample to have addressed any deficiencies in the squad.  Although I do appreciate that when a new manager comes its a bit rip it up and start again.  But that's a common excuse of modern manager, blame the predecessor to try reduce the expectations on themselves.

on the bright side for you, despite the criticism of Mourinho's style, if you throw enough money at it and sign Rodriguez and Griezmann, the attacking side of United's play should improve considerably.

do you get WL qualification for holding div 2 now?  thought you had to get promoted to do it or did they change that?

What do you think glad, reckon Ajax can beat them next week? In theory it should be a mismatch, as a non united fan and mourinho loather I'd love to see them flop

It's a strange one as I do acknowledge that city haven't had a great season and it's hard to say who from city should be in there with kdb.  Maybe it's a positional thing.  I'd say Sane should probably be in ahead of Valencia or Herrera but accept they have been 2 of uniteds better players.  Maybe David silva could be in but isn't due to better performers in that position.  Just strange that the team likely to finish 3rd under represented compared to the one thats been widely criticised for falling short and have thrown in the towel about 4 games before season has concluded.   I should probably be more surprised they haven't found a way to shoe horn rashford in there somewhere too lol

I'm not sure I follow the logic of united having 4 players to city's 1 given their respective league seasons  ??? I mean it's not an outrage just a little odd.  Or is it a nod to the fact united have had a bronze manager in charge of them all season  ;)

A load of high rated nobodies it would seem.  I'm not ending my exile till the worthwhile team of the seasons kick in.  Might try qualify for next weekends WL just to see if I I can get back into it (Fifa not WL)

Are they not dragging this team of the year out a bit? Tots most consistent till the 19th, in years gone by the top leagues would be out by now, I know the cl final isn't till the 3rd June but just seems a lot slower kicking off than I anticipated.

I know we talk about button delay and lag but does anyone else start a game and everything is fine smooth and good passing, runs and shots then at some stage in the game it kicks in no runs players taking 2-3 touches to control the ball or just running over the ball, when the ball is in your defense unable to clear either by passing or even pressing the shoot button full power just to get it out.

Had a game last night was 2 up and of course he gets a rebound off the post in the 90th to get it back to 2-2 and the absolute BS in ET to hand him the game fresh MOTM Son and Suarez unable to out run 94+ minutes played Nyom and Smalling.

Not the first time its happened i do notice it after subs are made that this kinda gameplay kicks in.

I mentioned this a couple of weeks back, that I found in a lot of my weekend league games one week that the lag seemed to kick in at a random point in the match, usually second half some time and it made holding onto a lead bloody difficult I'd go from being comfortable to just hoofing it anywhere.   Can't recall if I made a connection to subs, it's quite possible though given how often people try that during a match.
