Hey all.
Got pretty much fk all in my elite monthlies. More fodder for any SBC's that have any interest. Comfortable 20 wins this past WL. Likley to not complete all this coming weekend, but it's my last as i'm off mid week after for 10 days.
Surprised to see FUT going out with a whimper after those End of an Era SBC's. Kinda daft how the best of SBC's is a better promo than Futties... or should I say the Premier league sweat awards

Well, something very strange happened this weekend. I actually enjoyed the whole FUT Champs experience  Usual form of BS throughout, but went into it feeling no pressure or without any expectations. Comfortably got the 18, needing 20 for Elite 3 monthly. Which again came easily. 1st time this year Elite and gold 2 for the week. I have next weekend without wife and kids and will likely be my last WL for this FIFA as I go on annual holidays afterwards. August will be the last of the WL I presume. As for 18, I'll get it, but maybe not until I get the XB1X. Also after years of spending, and this year finally getting 2 teams which are by far the best of any FIFA, I'm going RTG only. Chances are there will be little glory though. Still it will save me a fair few quid and my sanity

Hi fellas
Pretty much settled on my final 2 teams for the death of FUT. Gerrard, Alonso, Lahm & POTM Ibra have filled the gaps nicely.
Champs is the same old story. Win one, lose one. I get the feeling I'm slap bang in the middle of a skill level. When I win, it goes up one, get beat and it returns back down a level. Just like seasons I suppose

How do
WL done on 20-20. Must say was the best connections for a number of weeks. Only played late Friday, early Sat and again late Sunday into the early hours of Monday and the last hour before ending.
Really should've done at least gold 1 but managed to throw away about 7 of my last 11 games. See the monthly Elite is comfortably achievable. Dunno if it is lower than past WL's, but more TOTS or maybe TOTY's as rewards will just about hold my interest.
Futties seems a strange one. Umtiti ?? where'd that one come from? Think also you should only be allowed to pick one 'vote' then the others are removed. Kind of pointless if you vote for them all.
No interest in Totti or Kyut. Came up against Totti only once and he smashed in a hattrick. Only have eyes for Gerrard
Did have TOTS Cavani at the start of the WL, but finally got fed up. Then progressed onto TOTS Lewandowski (he just doesn't work for me), and then settled on TOTS Mane. None really stood out. Sold off Mane this morning. Thinking on TOTS Werner as a super sub, but really want to give Mertens a go, but would leave me with 0 coins, and I feel Gerrard wont come cheap.
My star of the teams this weekend goes to PSBC Torres. When this card is on, its great to use.
Will try to get the FUT Birthday player then leave until WL again

I know the feeling kiwi. Same over the pond here in the UK. Sat afternoons and Sunday during the day are big no, no's..... but I did it anyway just to get the games out of the way. Was 10-8. Thinking this would be comfortable getting 8 wins from 22. Oh no. Quickly became 10-10, then progressed to lose the next 5 with shocking connections combined with having to stream to my laptop as couldn't get the TV on Saturday (during the day!!). So 10-15, leaving 15 to get 8. Got to 15-17. 8 to get 3... easy... right?? Had the TV Sunday morning. Won the first, then lost the next 2 panic stations Won 1, lost 1. 3 games to go.... Won the next 2 for 19 wins. Finished on 19-21 What a slog that was and much harder than it should have been. Gold 2 monthly - 4 red 81's on the way  I'm going to play this coming weekend then maybe that's it. Only interest now is to grab the Gerrard SBC

Been flying under the radar lately due to my tablet going the way of the dodo. Mixed couple of weeks. Champs has been steady and will nail gold 2 monthly. slim chance of gold 1. Done several of the tots packs with mixed results. None of the top blokes and the club has taken a hammering. Still have 4 main teams though, but literally no coins  Tempted to sell up, to a certain point but resisted so far. The 125k pack was abysmal. 88 rated brazil CB from Portuguese league  and one 83 rated player. the rest all sub 81 See that the rewards for champs next week are roll back packs from October !!! WTF use is that?  They will need something waaaay better than that to hold peoples interest until 18 arrives Later peeps

Wow. Guys relax. It is just a game although I have to admit that my break from it was refreshing.
FUT absorbs you. There is no other game that brings the worst out of you.
Its a love hate relationship. I'll get FIFA simply because I love football, but it will strictly be a RTG approach from now on.

Well, just been royally bent over and shafted by the game tonight. Unbelievable lag, delay, you name it, I've had it
Total flip from yesterday when connection was perfect but met every try hard on the road to get Nacho
Some of the teams are stacked. No idea how they get them to 83.
10 more attempts from tomorrow with the normal squads. Roll on the weekend ..... or not 😕

All things looked amazing - Anthem the stand out for me, but proof will be in the pudding.
Haven't got a 4k TV, so will be a big outlay. Have requested the console as a joint Xmas / birthday gift. Will then hand down the xb1 to the eldest. The TV can wait for the time being.
Still on the fence on getting FIFA 18. Tired of throwing money away at this game for what will be a minor upgrade. Its at the polishing of the bells and whistles stage and only fut champs would interest me. The son is enjoying FIFA 13 on the 360 at the moment. Forgot how stacked my teams were on there. Damn those morale cards 😆

Late session after the Xbox conference saw me get some of the best connections I've had this year. Seen a lot of people say that late Sunday is decent. You do see a lot of the pro's suddenly spring up top of the leaderboards come Monday morning. Anyways, was 11-11. Progressed to 18-13 then went to bed. Comfortably the best weekend league record I've had. Strange in amongst all this uncertainty. Once again left scratching my head, this time with a positive slant
